We were placed next the to lady's bathroom door by a at first grumpy waitress. At least we didn't get any odor from the bathroom and the girl warmed up after a while as well. All of us had a Cordon-blue which turned out to be delicious. 4 beers, 3 Cordon-blues, 60 Euros guess that's ok. Hope they renovate this place soon and it could be a hit in this area of Säckingen. But maybe it is in the summer when the garden restaurant is open and you have a nice view on the castle ...

The salad dressing that came with the menu was definitely from a bottle and the salad tasted like from a package. I had the Saganaki as a starter that wasn't fried to it's finest and the Kolossos platter with 3 different cuts of pork meat that all more or less had the same oily taste. My wife's Calamari were the worst I've ever tasted. Sorry guys, you were really nice but the food that night is a reason to stay away. Maybe we come back some day and if you are still in business we will give you a second shot though
