I am an amateur runner just starting out but they also seem to cater for all runners including the much more advanced than me! This didnt stop them advising me on what shoes were appropriate for me without making me feel like I wasnt important to them, as some athletic shops do if you are not part of the elite. They also have a rather impresive running machine that they can film you to chech your running style. I hear they moved from a smaller unit down the same street, I guess great service and good products does pay off!!

Wow what a great find - can't believe that no-one has written this place up yet…read more First, great attentive & knowledgeable staff - so that's a good start...then they take a serious approach to finding out exactly what you want and why & how you are going to use it...finally they actually are carrying the stock! I went in for some cushioned trainers, size 12 D...they looked at the feet, I walked on a treadmill and was filmed...they then produced 3 pairs my size by different makers (& they had others!) Totally recommend this place - go and take a look!

They do cycling, running, swimming and triathlon gear. The really is not even nearly enough staff. Also there is not enough choice of for example of football boots. Pro direct offers a much wider selection of everything. JJB is not as good as either of these two. The fact that sports direct is so so cheap makes it at least a 3 star, if only there was a wider range and more staff it would gave deffinately made a 4 or even a 5 star.
