The math worked out to be close to $650/hr on what I hired him for! I refused to pay and was ready to involve law enforcement if I needed to. I met him at a parts store to pay for parts he was installing and he was joking around with his buddies, F-bombing in front of customers and myself. He did this too in front of his own young child while we were going over the absolutely delusional amount he tried to charge me. He claims he will honor his work and repair anything he did that was incorrect. First you have to get him to reply to your calls and texts. Good luck with that after he's gotten paid. He completely ignored my request four times to use certain parts and instead put on what he wanted just to get my vehicle out of the "garage" as quickly as possible. I say garage loosely. To top it off, the first time I was attempting to drive (two days later) the vehicle as a "road test", power steering fluid was all over my driveway after he installed a new power steering cooler. Oh, and so you know, he only accepts cash and Cash App (not a business CashApp account either). Hmm...maybe he owes taxes? This is a small town and it doesn't take long to burn "professional" bridges here. I couldn't NOT recommend him more. One thing you will get is a completely BS, "Have a blessed day" from him...as he's lying to your face and thinking of how much he thinks he can get out of you. Just don't!
