It was a beautiful afternoon in Cuxhaven. After visiting the Kugelbake, we came upon this…read morerestaurant on the dyke. The place was busy and offered seating outside. We decided to sit outside and enjoy a small lunch and beers. After a few minutes, a waitress declared in an unpleasant tone that her colleague was responsible for our table. After several more minutes, a waiter came outside and was ready to take our order. We didn't even have menus! He grabbed a few menus from a nearby table where people were seated, handed them to us and headed inside. Well, he never returned! After about 15 minutes of waiting and watching the unfriendly waitress walk around like she was doing everyone a favor - we left.

I think the food her is quite good. The weekend breakfast is a highlight and as mentioned by others…read morethe view is amazing. I will continue to eat here and support this local business. The atmosphere is very nice as well.
