Very well done! The majority of the museum is curated with donated items from families that experienced the Amache camp during World War II. Primary sources adorn the walls and cabinets of this museum. Lots to look at, read, and only begin to understand what Amache life was like for the prisoners.
The museum is a three minute drive to the Amache Camp site. It is worth the stop so that you can pick up information about the site while also getting a feel for the magnitude of the event of interning Japanese citizens during wartime.
If you're in the area, definitely check out this museum for insight into this event in history. read more
