They were always taking their residents out to community activities along with the many activities that were provided in house. The management at The Gables were always willing to work with us if there was a problem and I really felt like my mom was getting the very best care. I liked that the residents had 2 snacks daily brought to their rooms on top of the meals. I was able to look in on a crafts session in which the residents were making a polished rock necklace. The had a big bingo board in the recreation room, which they said is a real blast when they all get going at it! You should come check The Gables of Ammon out and see why people really like this facility! They also offer some memory care and have ranging care options depending on how much care your lived one requires. Taking care of your lived one is important to not only you, but The Gables of Ammon staff as well. To ensure less falls The Gables of Ammon has instituted an active check policy in which the staff does a hall sweep a few times an hour to check on the residents. This proactive approach has decreased the amount of falls. I like forward thinkers and those that are proactive! This policy signals that The Gables of Ammon cares about thier residents and is willing to put in the extra effort and physically check into something, instead of being passive and just reacting to falls when they occur. Based on what I have seen and experienced, I would highly recommend The Gables of Ammon to anyone.
