Was basically close to being incapacitated for nearly 2 months, completely left without medical care my GP would not look at me either based on hospital conclusion that there is nothing wrong. As a consequences have multiple cranial nerve damage, memory loss, confusion, etc, finally approached hospital abroad and diagnosis was confirmed . Rigshospital denies diagnosis from abroad and refuses to continue with adviced treatment that leaves me without medical care in Denmark. Myself having medical background can't say anything good about any specialist in Rigshospitel, one word highly unqualified, narrow minded, unprofessional people. Doing just a basic test to save on diagnostics persons life and quality of life itself doesn't matter. In the past for different rear illness had to approach specialist from Italy, The Netherlands and USA all of them laughted at Danes as absolutely useless specialist that are not able to make basic test. This was confirmed on my own skin already a few times for different illnesses.

When calling up, I rarely sat on hold for more then 3-5 minutes, and was set up within the week for an appoint with Dr. Thomas Rohde. He spent some time checking out my wrist, and set me up with an MRI to get to the bottom of my injury. Within a week, he emailed me with very thorough details about what the MRI told him, and offered a solution to my problem. The whole staff has been incredibly professional, and I feel as though, should I need follow up visits, I will be in good hands here. It should be noted that Teres is also open to those who get referrals via the public healthcare system, though I'm not sure if the wait is longer as a result.

Now it is June 11 and I am being released after very great and necessary intensive antibiotic drops in my arm treatment. I think this infection could have killed me but the staff and good medical treatment I received here was in the etop! Thank you Danish national health care and bisperbjerg hospital staff. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because the food is not that good but then again this is not a hotel! The medical treatment is 5 stars and the staff 5 stars

A week after I got a mail where they wrote me that they had a second look at my X-rays so I should return and get a cast for my broken limp. Why did they not discover this right away? I had to suffer pain for an entire week. But then again it is a public hospital and there are private ones if you have insurance for it.

I had my eye surgery (LASIK) here last April and I am very satisfied with the level of care that…read moreboth the doctors and the optometrists provide. Since my glasses strength was bigger than -6, I was qualified for "free" surgery and was referred to this hospital. I had a very thorough pre-surgery check and even the surgery itself was very smooth. Carsten Edmund, my doctor - who happened to be "overlæge" at the department - was very patient and cared to explain the steps of the surgery. During the surgery he was also very patient with me although I was super nervous and very anxious about the surgery. They also do very good follow up / post surgery check up. I can't really complain apart from the long waiting time whenever I'm called up for a check, but that's how hospitals are, I suppose. I had to wait 45 minutes once for my appointment but usually it averages at 10-15 minutes.
