I first stumbled upon Amanda Bailey photography by accident. I noticed she was offering a contest for a free photo shoot and although I never win anything, I decided to enter. And boy am I glad I did! I won the contest and the delightful suprise couldn't have come at a better time. We hadn't had family pictures taken in over 5 years, my husband was about to deploy, and I was 33 weeks pregnant with our third child. Amanda did an amazing job capturing the love of our family. She was extremely patient with our two older children, our energetic two year old and opinionated eight year old. I didn't go into the shoot with too many ideas because I have always used "generic" photographers who place you in fake poses. Amanda was so creative in ideas for posing and capturing beautiful candid shots. I couldn't have been happier with the results! I later booked Amanda for a newborn session. The pictures she captured of my baby girl were amazing; so good in fact, my husband almost didn't believe it was our daughter. He deployed 11 days before she was born and these pictures meant the world to him. My husband recently came back from deployment and he suprised me by booking another family session wth Amanda. He said, "Other photographers and portrait studios are okay I guess but they just don't compare to Amanda Bailey Photography." I couldn't agree more!!! read more

I was in Texas on a vacation and was lucky enough to be a client of Amanda's. I am a single Mother and had never had the chance to have professional photographs taken. My daughter can be incredibly shy at times, and neither of us had ever sat for anything beyond a basic school photo. The location Amanda selected was beautiful, and she came fully prepared. Photos were taken of my daughter alone, and then of the two of us together. I was worried about how to pose, how to smile, and how everything would turn out. Amanda was so amazing! She got us both laughing and was excellent with telling us how to move in small ways. The shoot itself was fun and beautiful. Later when I saw the proofs, I was speechless. She captured my daughter's true smile and spirit, and made everything seem natural and fun. All nervousness vanished and when I wanted to do an outfit change, she waited patiently. The next time I want photos done I will fly to Texas or pay for her to come to us, as I wouldn't trust any other photographer to capture the beauty that she did. She has my full recommendation and I cannot wait for the opportunity to experience her talent again. I can never get enough of Amanda, she has always given more than 150% to her clients. I know this for a fact and first hand experience. My daughter was getting married last year and needed a photographer asap. She met with Amanda and the rest is history! Her work ethic and commitment to her clients and friends is amazing. Since that day of their meeting they have become very good friends. My daughter has done a weeding, maternity, newborn, holiday, boudoir, hot cocoa and a blue bonnet shoots with her. It doesn't matter what the occasion or reason she is and will be my daughter, son-in-law and grandson's photographer. We love her a person and she is a wonderful friend. How to take a million words and compact them into one review. Amanda Bailey is by far the best photographer EVER! Since the 1st time she took my newborns pictures to our family sessions and even individual ones for my kids she have never given less than 110% every time. I have four kids and that is always hard to work with but the patients she has allows her to take only the best and most natural pictures of them. Since our 1st shoot I fell in love and I am privileged to be able to call her not only my photographer but my friend. Amanda was simply amazing! I was traveling to Fort Hood to visit my fiance and we wanted to get engagement pictures done. I corresponded with Amanda strictly through email up until the day of our session, something I normally do not do! She did an amazing job, made my fiance and me feel completely at ease, and she was professional, but fun at the same time! Once I ordered I image disc she mailed it very promptly and it was to me much quicker than I anticipated!
