Tuesdays during rose harvest (May) there are tours at 9am for 7€ which was a bargain to me...we learned so much. Walking around the fields, hearing about the region of Grasse and their sustainable, organic practices and growing the exceptional quality roses that would only be good enough for Dior, we knew this was the place to come learn Fragrant air, sunny day and there was a treat at the end as we discovered they hold back a very small portion of their harvest to make jams. The culture of buying disposable clothing seems to be pervasive, which gives me a case of the sads. This is the sort of spot where one might purchase fewer but nicer pieces that can be worn anywhere and are timeless.
