Before I jump in this is ONLY a review of their spa services. I should have know better as you get what you pay for and I have learned my lesson but in the meantime let me tell you about my experience.
God awful. (To all the other reviews I found online...have you ever been to a spa?!) Scheduled a massage and facial. Came in, they did not have me in their system. But they added me in so ok fine.
The place was disgusting and a sorry excuse for a spa. It was at best, a beat up nail salon with a few hair stylists that also HAPPENS to offer spa services like massages and facials.
The facial was in a room that was too tiny for any services. Like they had to move the bed in order to open the door. Then I had an inexperienced esthetician who I'm pretty sure used dollar store products on my face like suave lotion because it didn't feel right..or smell right. It smelled like dirt cheap lotion.
Then she starts using some zapper on my face as if she's killing bugs. I can't even explain what it was as I'm sure it's not FDA approved and I would never find it in the US. So inexperienced. Awful. No steamer. When have you ever seen a facial done without a steamer? Really?
Then the lady puts a "mask" (more cheap product) on my face and decides to take a phone call in the hallway. She definitely forgot about me and it kind of started to burn a little and at that point I was done. I got frustrated, patted my face down as much as I could and WALKED OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF IT!
Best decision I made that day. She was confused but took no responsibility as I'm leaving telling me I should hydrate my face when I get home. Thanks a lot. They should have paid ME to have that experience. I wish I had never given them a dime.
I would NEVER come back here for a spa service. Maybe a nail appointment but even the hair salon portion looked scary and grungy.
If you want a real spa, real massage, real facial go to Ako at the Hyatt. read more
