Dayna herself came out and met with Lisa and I. Her comp numbers/examples, view point of the current market, and recommendations for the best approach were refreshing. They are probably to most tech savvy group we have ever used with respect to digital media and targeted advertising. Her team includes agents, a staging professional, an in-house photographer and specialists that deal with listings and digital media. Even those answering the phone were true real estate professionals. We had access and exposure to everyone on her team. A true focus on selling our home as quickly and for as much as possible. The bottom line is that results are what matter most. We accepted an offer within 3 days of the listing going live. We live in…read moreanother state, so I was looking for someone who would give me good advice on the market, and be there for us as we worked through this process. I received terrible advice on the market, and was told I'd be lucky if the house sold in 6 months to a year. I had 2 offers in a week and a half, and 4 others who wanted to make offers but never got the chance. The buyer used a different realtor, yet I was told by Dayna how they went "above and beyond" to sell the house, and aren't your typical realtor. That's why they wanted to charge me 6.5%. When I pushed back, I was told the going rate in TX is 7 to 7.5% for real estate sales. A simple Google search told me that wasn't true! An estate sale agent was recommended by them, that canceled on us the night before. When I brought this to their attention I was told, "That's why we don't like to recommend people". WHAT?? They did recommend that agent!! Then, as we were clearing out the house, and holding the sale ourselves, I kept getting text messages asking when we would be out of the house. It became so annoying, I just starting ignoring. them. As far as I was concerned, we had until closing to be out. Most communication was via text message. I certainly didn't think this was a proper way to do business. It was like we were working for her, not the other way around. Then at closing, I was again told what a great job they did in selling the house so fast and what a great market it is in that area. In short, I would not recommend this real estate company. I felt like everything was to their advantage, including the closing, which was scheduled in Beaumont when the house is in Orange. I wish I had gone with another agent.
