Had a very bad experience here in 2019. Went to the ER after being sick for a week and losing a…read moresignificant amount of weight. I am an American and was a dumb kid who didn't realize the hospital had nothing to do with the US and that there were almost no English speakers on staff (A couple of ppl spoke very broken English)
As for the quality of care, it was very very bad. It took about 2 hours for the doctor to see me. When she finally did, the nurses came in and hooked me up to some IV fluids. I waited a few hours as they eventually ran out. The bag was then empty, so I pressed the call button for a nurse. I waited a while but eventually fell asleep.
I woke up an hour or so later and saw the fluid line was filling back up with my own blood and pressed the button to call a nurse. After waiting 30 minutes and pressing it a few times, nobody showed up. I then got up and walked out into the reception area (sick, very weak and walking with the fluid line full of blood) and ask the receptionists if a nurse can come help me remove the IV by pointing at the blood in the line (I was young and had no experience in the medical field yet and didn't want to mess up the catheter in case I needed other treatment). They brushed me off and said yes go wait in your room. Well I did, for 3 MORE HOURS.
I finally just took the catheter out myself as the whole line was filled with blood. It took another 2 hours for a nurse to finally come in to check on me.
Very negligent staff and no communication between nurses and patients. Also poor attitudes from the receptionists the entirety of my stay
