I would not even give them one star!!!!! If anyone needs an appliance company....WE DO NOT RECOMMEND American Appliance in banning. They charged $69 to come out and tell us our stove needed a new computer and wanted to charge us over $800 to fix it. Well it was not the computer...it was 2 ignition switches that only cost us $100 total and we put both of them in ourselves. The guy that came out waved his little wand to say it was the computer....That was the wrong diagnosis! Would give zero stars if able to! They say most things fixed same day, tech came out said he had to go back and find out what the piece would cost, took my 60 bucks for service call and left! Called later that day and the lady said she would find out asap and call me back, I did not receive a call back, called back the next day and she said 771 dollars to fix the washing machine! I had American Appliance come to check out a 1 1/2 year old Range at my tenants place.They charged me $60 to show up. They said it needed a new bake ignitor and they wanted $279.00 to replace it. Their prices are way too high, I had someone else replace it for $150. I would never use them again. read more

Update sears came put and fix my frig for $224 A-1 was going to charge me $541 fix it. Go with a major chain better service for 1/2 the price. read more

Would not recommend at all had tech come out to fix dryer ...I told him it needed igniter which it was , from arrival to finish a total of 15 minutes spent in my home job cost me over 180.00 dollars showing part to be 50.00 on invoice when calling to ask why labor was so high they advised we have to pay for our overhead too .... geeez and the tech wasn't even friendly ...would never use them again ! read more
