Also, the building has been sold at just a matter of time before they close from what i'm hearing.

Do not waste your time going to this gym, I would give him zero stars. On any given day, you walk into this gym and there's atleast 2 or 3 machines are wrapped with caution Tape. OUT OF ORDER and typically not repaired within a for weeks. The gym is dirty and old outdated equipment. Nearly every day there's a garbage can sitting in the middle of the gym. Collecting water from the upstairs, not sure. What's going on with that. Staff is not very friendly. Whatever you do, do not sign any contracts. You will be completely disappointed. Also I have heard the building has been sold, and it looks like it's just a matter of time before they will be closing down this location.See attached news article.

Walking by, this building looks more like a regular office building than a gym, but my son really likes coming here and he says no one's really here due to the pandemic and everything's spaced out, so he likes the feeling of having the gym to himself. It's incredibly cool in there with the AC on blast, and he likes all the free weights and different workout machines.

Realistically a 2.5. I've been coming here for years and I'm glad they're reopening and want them to stay open. They've taken steps in the current pandemic situation such as closing off the cardio area, lockers, water fountains, and showers. They've also updated some equipment like replacing the aging dumbell rack.I do have suggestions for improvement. There are now more cleaning stations, but the towels aren't perforated so inevitably you're grabbing the roll with your hands to tear. The towels aren't something you're going to sanitize. I also think there should be hand sanitizer readily available for after using machines. My final critique is I think there needs to be an employee wandering around to enforce masks. There's a non zero number of people taking them off to talk or not having them properly over their face.

Before this I was spending exactly the same amount of time doomscrolling on my phone per night. The staff are all absolute sweethearts, theyre always working and cleaning. The bathrooms are gross in ANY gym, it can get gnarly here but I've never had to do the big one here. You just need to accept that. Everybody says hi, the entire PF stigma around big lifting is completely unfounded for this location. I go 2-3 wheels on the big lifts and nobody cares, no stares, didn't set the alarm off. It makes noise when I rack it. Nobody has ever once spoke to me. I'm on week 7. It's only going to get bigger. The price is so cheap I've literally paid $26 to get a 3 plate deadlift which is the best ROI of any money I've spent. For the past 2 months I've belong to multiple gyms at the same time to feel them out. Not only do more expensive gyms have less equipment, that is maintained very poorly, or the entire place smells Indian as hell (absolute deal breaker 9000), but then you pay $60, it closes at ridiculous hours so youre dealing with a morning or after work stampede and I do not rushing or asking if someone is still using something because everybody has their own journey and they have a right to take their time and enjoy their privacy. So after my first two months of belonging to 4 gyms simultaneously for a trial week, PF is actually the winner (Anytime/24/Barbell/PF)

There are just a couple of things I wish were better. First, I wish they had longer operating hours, especially on weekends. I actually ended up getting a second gym membership because I sometimes work out later in the evening when Crunch is already closed. The other downside is the restroom setup. They use shared (unisex) bathrooms, which isn't ideal. Since people shower there, the floors are often wet, and because there are only a few bathrooms, it can get crowded with lines--especially after group classes. I've learned to avoid peak hours because of that. Overall, it's a clean, modern gym with a great atmosphere, and the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. If they extended their hours and improved the bathroom situation, it would easily be a 5-star gym.

No traditional men's/women's locker rooms. Lines can be very long. Water filter oftentimes need to be changed in the water dispenser. Overall, I'd say it's better than most gyms since it's newer. It's also centrally located, with a Safeway conveniently in the same plaza. Group classes are oftentimes using up the turf area, blasting extremely loud music.

Warning the classes can be overwhelming to someone new with the loud music and all the different timers and beeping throughout the class. Suggestion to people to focus on the movement more than the timing. Suggestion to BFT to be mindful of the level of the music. There are small lockers to put stuff away. The location is small meaning there are no showers. They have restrooms and a water station and a small instant coffee station. I prefer small classes and this place is super close to me so these issues are not a deal breaker for me. The staff are super nice. They try hard to build a community building new programs to support clients. They are helpful to show one on one how to correctly complete the movement. I don't know about pricing as this is the first time I have ever had to pay for a gym. They are flexible to pause your membership or modify whatever program you are in. I highly suggest to try at least one cardio and one strength classes before committing.

I'd heard of Lagree but never really knew what it was, and didn't even know this was Lagree going into it, but it's basically a more intense form of pilates that uses a megaformer vs the traditional one. I'm glad I had a base of already working out and trying two other similar classes before coming here, so it was a little less intimidating. I think a beginner could definitely get the hang of this, but having a good foundation felt necessary to get the full benefits of the class and workout. And of course instructor direction and examples were a big factor in succeeding in the classes as a newcomer. I've had a handful of different instructors and have definitely found the one that is more my style and more motivating to me (shout out Ankitha), but I've generally liked all of the instructors enough to go back to their classes. Finding an instructor that works for you makes all the difference though when you're powering through a touch class, which these often are. I originally signed up for their first timers offer of 4 classes for $99. Other than that, without a membership classes run at $38 per, but they have a ton of different packages and memberships that could make classes range from $11 (if you went every single day) to $30 with a larger upfront cost. I ended up getting a class pack so that I wasn't limited or expected to attend a certain number of classes a month and have really liked the flexability. They have tons of classes throughout the day and week, so finding an opening isn't too hard.

I had already taken a variety of other Lagree classes before but I definitely needed a refresher on how to use the reformer. I came out the studio with my whole body quivering! The studio is very bright and allows for so much sunlight which I love. However, there seemed to be a little bit of a light funk of body odor that lingers throughout the place. I hope they find a way to circulate fresh air around the studio to make it a better visit next time!
