On October 25, 2025, around 9:30 AM, the young kid working the front gate at Victoria Estates Master Association completely failed to do his job properly. Because of his carelessness, the gate bar came down and hit my vehicle, causing damage. What made things worse was his attitude -- he was laughing about the entire situation like it was funny. Also refused to give me his name or any information to report the situation. He looked like he had been out all night, clearly not professional or alert enough to be working. He even had a hickey on his neck, which says a lot about how seriously he takes his job. This is supposed to be a gated community with security, but Archon Protection clearly hires unqualified, immature people who don't take their responsibilities seriously. That's right- the entire 17 years we paid them to keep us safe they were lying to us. At some point before we moved in the windows must have been re-done so all of the sensors were removed. Yet for so many years and so many technicians no one else could figure that out or admit that. They would just override the window issue and leave. We paid these people to keep us safe for 17 years and it was all a lie. The alarm system never worked properly and they knew it. Now that it's been a few months since we cancelled- the alarm STILL keeps going off! I had to relocate my family and my pets to sleep in an office last night because every alarm in our house was going off. Of course we called Boyd but wouldn't you know it- "someone would have to call me back in the morning." They never called. We just finished ripping all of their garbage "equipment" out of the walls with screwdrivers and knives (Boyd refuses to remove all of their crap if you dare cancel service- they just charge you to install it and then you're on your own.) You'd be better off just leaving your doors and windows open and inviting burglars in. Literally go with ANY OTHER COMPANY than these crooks. The worst service of all time.

They told me it was a must for me to be at the Embassy the following day and they would overnight my uniforms. The following day early, they called me and said there was a contractual issue and to stay at home till I was called. My uniforms arrived while I was waiting for the "call". This was on a Tuesday. It's been going on two weeks now with no call, text, nothing. The last time I called, I was told not to call again, they would get in touch with me. I'm a little older, maybe that's the problem, I'm not sure. At least man up and give me a reason, this is wrong. Now, I'm out almost two weeks' pay from the company I quit. Is this how California does business?
