I recently tried to place an order at my local American Deli in Union City, Ga. The service that I received was reprehensible. I called to place a pickup order and was rudely told that the location was too busy to take phone orders and to come in. Before I could get a word in the employee hung up. I have never experienced this type of service at other locations. I stopped going to this location years ago due to the decline in the quality of service and food. I now frequent the wing restaurant next door because of how bad this location has gotten. I find it shameful that I can't frequent a restaurant in my area due to the poor customer service. I purposely go out of my way to visit other locations just to avoid this one. I'm not sure who manages this restaurant but they need a complete overhaul of the staff. read more

Listen, this certainly isn't fine dining but it's a decent place to duck into for a cheesesteak, wings and fries. The cheesesteak was packed with meat. I could have done with a bit more onion, pepper, and mushrooms on mine but still it was flavorful. The fries were super crisp and not greasy at all. They have crinkle cut! The wings ere good also. Opted for the honey bbq flavor. They are a little small but still pretty good. The service was just ok but what do you really expect from a quick fast food joint? One star because I did like my food but customer service is nonexistent here. Nobody is wearing masks yet they have signs up about covid safety precautions. Heavy set lady with braids at the counter is rude and seems to be new. It took 30 minutes for me to get an order that I called in, which they won't even start on until you come in to pay which totally defeats the purpose of having the ability to call in an order! Even once I got there and paid several customers who came in after me that walked up to the counter and placed their order received their food before mine. When my food is finally ready they accidentally almost gave me somebody else's food along with mine. This place is not one that I would normally go to and I definitely wouldn't recommend sitting down to eat although they do have a few tables but my girlfriend who lives in UC recommended this place for the chef salad and wings. I did not get a chef salad. I actually got a garden salad which consisted of regular iceberg lettuces, chopped tomatoes, chopped cucumbers, banana peppers with a little sprinkle of oregano. The salad was good but the highlight of this place is definitely the hot wings and the lemon pepper wings. For soneone who does not like lemon flavored food, I highly recommend those lemon pepper wings. If you're ever in the area and want some wings give American Deli a shot. read more

I love their tilapia & whiting fish. It's usually pretty crowded when I go, and although they can be a little slow, the food is always quite tasty. I wouldn't recommend eating in because the dining area is so small and people who are carrying out cause it to be a bit crowded. read more

Lady taking orders with red shirt and brown braids in low bun is VERY rude and disrespectful. She has an HORRIBLE attitude and on the phone while in the front taking orders . I haven't had any issues in the past. However today I placed a phone order and when I went to pick up my order it was incorrect. They fixed the order but then I noticed I was charged for the wrong order. Instead of the cashier explaining what she did and that there was no change in the monetary value of my order she became rude when I brought it to her attention.
