The first order I placed online (which included a promo code) did not allow me to change the "ship to" address and defaulted instead to the one they had for my son in CT (I live in the Rochester, NY area). So I called. The associate cancelled that order and sent me an email confirming the cancellation. He advised me to go back to their website and reorder. I did but this time it would not allow me to apply the promo code (said I had already used it). So I called again. This associate re-entered all the information, took my correct shipping and billing address (are the same) and reapplied the promo code. So far so good. She put me on a brief hold and YEP! we got disconnected. So I called back. The third associate could barely communicate in English, and I am very patient and tolerant when English is a second language. She could not figure out how to reapply the promo code to BOTH items on the order. I hung up. I'll to Brook Brothers instead.

I have visited a couple of Athleta stores over the past few weeks. Tonight's visit was impromptu while I was trying to get some exercise by walking around in the mall. I noticed that they had a sale sign out, I'm always in to see what is on clearance or reduced rack. Just as the staff at my local store has proven to be, the staff was friendly and informative. I was able to try some pants on and get suggestions, and I even asked which color looked best and got a solid answer. The store associate that was their knew about all of the new items and also was willing to pull stuff from the back that was on clearance or close out to show me. I will continue to shop at this chain. I am extremely impressed.

She is rude, unprofessional and just short of calling me a liar. She stated the store never puts orders back without a phone call. I don't even receive emails telling me my orders are in, let alone a phone call. When I call the store I have to call at least 12-15 times just to get one of them to answer the phone. It is usually the manager that is beyond rude to me. I do not know how she keeps her position being employeed at Torrid. I've caught her in multiple lies. Her employees have agreed with me she is a very unprofessional individual.
