Usually I go to pick up food from here when I have time, but today, I didn't. So, I ordered food from this restaurant today for the first time through an app called Door Dash. Once my food arrived, I had all of my items except one item. I didnt know how to go about getting the other item, so i called the restaurant, & the woman i spoke too was extremely rude & disrespectful. I asked her could I either pick up the item or get a refund on everything. She decided to tell me that she was the person who put my food in the bag, & that either my driver kept the other item for herself, & assumed that I probably ate it. I explained to her that literally everything was fine, except for me not having that other item, & she told me that she was not going to place another order for the item & to pretty much deal with not having the item. You would think that being charged that much money, that they could just give it to you when everything else was good, but no. Had it have been someone else, I probably would've gotten my other item. I haven't lived in Macon that long, but this used to be my favorite place to go to to grab a bite to eat, & now it is no longer my go-to place to go get food from. Whoever the lady was that talked to me, needs to be fired or learn how to change her attitude. Being rude & disrespectful to your customers will not get you tips. Especially if you don't make enough money working at a place like this anyway. I'm never going back, & I hope that no one else has to experience dealing with rude staff who work there. read more

I don't understand what they mean by "American FEEL and Wings". I've never had an American Feel. Is it tasty? Sweet? Salty? Or does it involve heavy petting in the backseat of Detroit steel? (in which case, I'll take two, please). Anyway. The food is ok, the prices are ok, the service is ok. It's counter serve and the food cooks up pretty quickly. The bacon chili cheese fries are worth a look. Yes, the name is completely not understood but the wings are good. Located just off I-16 at exit 1 next to the greyhound bus terminal. Completely not fancy with a wide selection including, gyros, Philly cheese, burgers, freshly cooked crinkle fries and fried rice but the wing is king! My lunch was a gyro with fresh tomato slices, fries, six hot wings and a Mellow Yellow.....with a free refill ! .....a ton of food at a great value. In a word: Awesome. Wings are delicious. They offer a variety of flavors for the wings. Highlights include lemon pepper and honey mustard. They offer a lot of other choices too just in case wings aren't on your personal menu for the day. Salads, burgers, phillies, fried rice, grilled chicken sandwiches, ham/turkey sandwiches, pork ribs, and more. Other highlights include the DELICIOUSLY thick french fries offered with seasoning salt (which I tend to sprinkle on very generously...) as well as the mouth watering hush puppies. I've been coming here on and off for a while but it seems like the cashiers have become friendlier too! It's been a very nice surprise to have cashiers who don't seem like they're in hell (and at some fast-food chains, they sure seem like they work for the devil). That last visit pushed me over the edge and I had to write a review. These guys are fantastic. If you haven't given them a try yet, trust me on this one. It might take a few minutes longer than your regular fast food joint but at least you know that the food hasn't been sitting in a 'warmer' for the last hour. It's an OK stop for Wings. The wings are good but not "angel" wings as someone else suggested! Peach drink is really good and the tea could be stronger but it's really sweet. Fries are good with season salt and lemon pepper from counter sprinkled on top! But let's be honest, this is such a stupid name for a restaurant almost comical. When I walked in I was not greeted even after standing at the counter in front of the two workers who were gossiping behind the counter. The staff was rude. Food came fast. The peach drink was nasty. The chicken was greasy they fry it in flour then put the sauce on top which is not how you make hot wings that's how you make soggy fried chicken wings. The frys were decent. We did get blessed with a pan handler and he didn't want food only money. Overall I gave this restaurant 2 stars because the bathroom was clean and the food came fast. Unless you are very hungry and in the area at the same time I would pass this spot by and after dark even if you are hungry and in the area my suggestion is to keep moving. read more

We ordered from this place recently for our monthly safety committee meeting & I'll have to admit, the rice is really good. The only problem with that is, they give you so much of it & not enough of the other items (steak/vegetables). I've also read other complaints about the wings being really small. I like smaller wings & they were good but for the money, I would like a little more meat on them or at least add a couple extra to the plate. One of my fellow safety committee members order the flounder & he advised that it made him sick later that day. Another ordered a cheesesteak sandwich & advised that it was good in reference to taste but also stated that there must be a meat shortage within those four walls. Fodd is pretty standard for this kind of establishment. Wings are small but have good flavor. Seafood options are better than you'd expect from this kind of the place. The Chinese is pretty good if you stick to the fried rice (the teriyaki sauce is lumpy, as if it came from a frozen tube and wasn't mixed well).
