I cannot give enough praises to the staff at American Heritage Funeral Home. Losing a loved one is hard enough and then you have to plan a funeral. When we arrived to American Heritage we were greeted promptly. We were offered coffee, tea, water while we waited. Then it's time to take you to the room for the planning. When we walked in the room I immediately saw the sign "For the family of **************". I started crying. This was happening. My family and I were grieving. We are devastated at losing our loved one. In comes Brandy Garcia and her assistant Stacey. Their calming demeanor, their comfort they gave to us, and their patience was amazing. They walked us through the planning process to give my father a service he deserved. During the process they kept assuring us were okay, it was okay, when we didn't know what we wanted. They gave us time to discuss it, there was no rushing. The attention to detail they provided every step of the way from the sign, to a pen & notepaper so we could write down the follow up items. No matter how many times we contacted them with questions or concerns they never made us feel as if we were bothering them. Brandy at one point said "I got this. You don't have to worry about this. We will take care of everything". They helped us plan a beautiful memorial and service to honor my father. I highly recommend American Heritage. You won't regret that decision. read more

The representative who assisted us at American Heritage (Ms. Martinez) was very helpful and patient with us as we were planning the homegoing services for our Dad. We had to make several changes because of the special guests who were to attend the services. As an Army Veteran, we wanted our Dad to have his full military honors and to be buried next to our Mom (his wife) in a family owned plot. The flow was seamless. Our overall experiences over a span of a few days period were very good. We highly recommend American Heritage Funeral Home for final needs. Our Dad received his military honors at the funeral home and had the carriage ride at the cemetery. Everyone who watched live-stream commented at how dignified the services were and many of those who watched had never seen the military honors presentation. Those in attendance were in awe at the precision at which the services flowed and amazed to have witnessed the military honors in person. read more

Specifically, Brandi Garcia was an angel to work with. She showed great care, compassion and support to my mother and family during the entire process. The team was extremely helpful in managing through the details. We brought many personal items to display the day of the service and they set everything up perfectly. The facility is immaculate and very well kept. I don't think my mother could have been more pleased with everything and I know she so appreciated all that Brandi and the others did for the family and in honoring my father and his many years of service. We used American Heritage Funeral Home twice over a year. Brandy and her team are phenomenal. Last year she helped with our grandmothers services and just recently with our moms. Although both were pre-planned arrangements there are still many details that need to be dealt with and Brandy makes it so easy. First she is at your disposal at anytime and responds back very quickly. She really has a gift of making people feel at ease even under sad circumstances. My dad had a form he wanted faxed over to a company that she did not have to do but kindly did anyway. It was not going through so she emailed the attachment and sent a confirmation. American Heritage made the painful process of planning for my mom's funeral a very easy process. Brandy and Hunter were amazingly patient, caring and loving in dealing with every detail we asked for to make sure we celebrated Mom in every way. They quickly responded to every email or text l sent them. They were absolutely wonderful! The reception after the funeral was elegant and the catered food was delicious. Deacon Scott held a beautiful Catholic ceremony. Loved him! ALL American Heritage employees we encountered were polite, caring and friendly, as well. American Heritage held a candlelight remembrance ceremony for our loved ones tonight. When we walked in Julissa greeted us as though we were her own family even though we hadn't seen her since my Aunt's service two years ago. They had a santa for the kids, carriage ride, and a candle light service for everyone with the most delightful refreshments after and at no expense to us.
