Wow were to even begin?
Well let me start by saying {STOP} "Please Do not call American Home Patient" until you read everything.
I have been a patient with American home patient for over 10 years, now with a REAL medical supplier company as of this morning.
I normally do not write reviews on stuff like this as i really do not have the time being a single dad and business owner myself, plus my writing skills and grammar are not the best, but what i am really here to do is warn other people especially doctors and other insurance companies of buyers remorse, and tying your good reputation to a unprofessional & UN-compassionate organization they call American Home Patient.

Last Friday August 3rd 2018 I went into there local office on Elkton road in Newark. I handed a SD card to the women that was there, i told her i would need the card read for my physical for work. I told her i needed it by Monday, no big deal plug it into a PC download the info to your program and email it to the patient right? One would think. Well first she wanted to confirm my email. it was wrong , no big deal i wrote down the right email, she told me if she could not get it done by Friday evening before the girl Lori left that i would for sure have it by Monday morning. I told her while i was there, that i was having a lot of issues with my mask that it was too big and that air was leaking out the sides and i could not sleep. Again the women at the Newark branch assured me they would have a therapist call me to get me straightened out..
Well Monday morning came and it was now 9:00 am and my physical was at 10:15 still no email. So i called they told me they already emailed it, Guess what ? They mailed it to the wrong email. I called from my car still no email i finally got it after i left my Dr's office.
The mask: I spoke with my team of doctors and nutritionist that are involved with my surgery i have coming up. They are all very concerned of the way i was treated by these folks, i now have cuts on my face from there ancient mask. My Doctor had to now get involved along with my insurance company.
I now have a very reputable company. When my therapist seen my mask she looked at it and said it was very old and that she had not seen one like it in over ten years that in it self raises questions, and my face she could not believe it. She did call American home patent to ask if i could send all unopened supplies back.The mask they said they would not take back because it was over 30 days. So i called back at 12:30 to ask if they can take the mask back anyway, because of all the SH*t they put me through they did not care, because i never got the call back, again I was not surprised, i wanted to warn others of these incompetent amateurs tied to our health and well being. I will also be contacting my family attorney today, to try and not only get the 38.00 dollars reimbursed to my insurance company, masks but also my time and aggravation and scratches on my face.
If i was American Home Patient, I would have just paid the 38.00 for the reimbursement to avoid this embarrassing review and now the long battle that is now going to be plaguing this sorry a** company they call American Home Patient
Please drop the first word of your company name, as American Home Patient is a disgrace to our nation.
