I woke up the following morning with back pain. They had told us breakfast was included so we went downstairs and again were disappointed. There were scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, cereal and fruit. Juice and coffee as well. The only good thing was probably the coffee. The eggs tasted like they were out of a carton and watered down. So my advice would be skip the breakfast and go somewhere else, which we later did.

For a hotel that caters to travelers who often rely on laundry during longer stays, this is a pretty basic amenity to neglect. Not to mention it's COIN OPERATED. Marriott has gone WAY down hill. Hilton would NEVER LOL. If you're planning to stay here for more than a night or two, don't count on being able to do laundry. Between the lack of functional equipment and the indifferent staff response, it's just not reliable.

When we tried to use the room key within the Hilton app to enter the building, we heard the door mechanism click but the door was not unlocking. We got back in our car and drove to the front desk and they informed us that there was an issue with the Hilton app key opening outside doors so they gave us a key card. We walked across the hotel back to our room and I exited the room to get some ice but I only had my phone with me. When I got back to the room, I realized that the Hilton app was not unlocking the room either so I had to go back to the front desk to get a second key card. Definitely not what I was expecting to happen at 10 PM! Other than the room key issues, the hotel staff was very nice and the breakfast was great. There was lots to choose from (juice, eggs, sausage, toast, fruit, waffles, oatmeal, granola). Perfect way to start the day before heading home. I really like the fact that there is a Circle K across the parking lot if you forget any toiletries at home or just want to grab a snack. There are also toiletries available for sale at the front desk along with plenty of drinks/snacks to choose from. ***TIP*** If you forget your toothbrush/toothpaste at home, ask the person at the desk and they will grab them from the back. They are complimentary and not out for sale with the other toiletries/snacks. PLEASE fix the key within the Hilton app to make it easier to enter the building/ rooms after hours! It's unfortunate that it is not working during the holiday season. If the issue with the key within the Hilton app gets fixed, I will not have a problem booking a room here in the future.

I asked her where the complaint came from. She said nothing but after I went downstairs and I see the workers there I know it came from a worker who brought me towels when I was just trying to clean up the room to be accused of something like that is oblivious, without doing any form of an investigation that is wrong she even brought a person with her like I am a monster. I have a broken hip and a dislocated femur. What am I gonna do you come to my door and you accuse me of something that I'm not even doing. Edit talk to management the next morning about the situation and she was very apologetic. Very very nice. The Inn is wonderful. The food is wonderful. Don't get me wrong. The Hampton is wonderful. It's just that one thing that left a bad taste in my mouth.

I stated I would stay elsewhere if cockroaches would be in my room. Very late around midnight I again got up and discovered cockroaches. On previous stays this hotel had no cockroaches and it is clean with nice employees. I understand infestations can happen, but I believe I should have been compensated for the other night also, especially since I was assured the infestation was rectified. I should have known better and stayed elsewhere.

Instead of feeling helped or reassured, I had an elder with me whom been in a car for hours so with no effort to offer alternatives or solutions while the system was down it was rudely stated to return in 30 min or take a refund Customer service matters most when things go wrong, and this experience missed the mark. A little patience, professionalism, and communication would have made a huge difference. I hope management takes the time to better support their employees during situations like this, so guests don't end up having a negative experience because of internal issues.
