My first time every visiting this salon and I am not impressed! I was on vacation visiting my now husband and decided to get my nails done since we would be leaving in a couple days. Called around the Landstuhl area and they had an opening for the next day; sweet! The lady on the phone (owner) told me to book online since this will make the process easier. We said small pleasantries and hung up. I already had a gel set on, so I was looking for a refill. However, they were old looking so I opted for the new set option. There are other options to choose from at an additional cost but I just wanted to kept it simple. When I arrived at the salon the next day, I was greeted by the nail tech and then told to choose a color. I opted for a natural look and went to sit down at her station. The nail tech looked at her iPad and reiterated the options I chosen online. When I acknowledge everything was good she started. Before she began filing she let it be known they do not use machine--everything is done my hand. I am totally ok with this since that is what I am used to in Japan. The nail tech started filing and we began talking but I noticed she moved to the next finger. When I asked if she was going to take off the old filing she stated "taking off that set would be extra--that's not an option you choose". Given, I'm no nail tech but if you get a new set of nails shouldn't the old ones come off to ensure it's a strong foundation! When I stated I did not know I had to chose that option online she asked the owner that and another question I had regarding getting extensions. They let me know it will be extra to take off the old set and plus get extensions I inquired about since my nails had outgrew my old set. We started on the base of the nail then extensions were done after. She placed my nails under the light to cure. However, a couple of them didn't cure well and fell apart when she remove the film. She redid those nails and we proceeded on. The second time the gel cured and she began shaping them. By this time it was time for me to go but I had to reminded her to place the clear coat on my nail to seal them. I walked out the door once the clear coat was dry and head to the apartment. When I got to my husband door and pulled the knob my thumb nail broke (where the extension was placed). I was a little bummed but thought I could get this fixed tomorrow before our flight left. By the time 940ish pm rolled around 4 other nails came apart (where my nail and the extension met). By morning another nail was gone! Now I'm mad & pissed because half my nails are jacked in under 12 hrs! I call the salon back in the am (10:30ish) and explain the situation and the owner states they don't have any open spots but if I can stop by she can try to fix them however, there are no openings. My flight from Frankfurt left at 1pm & it was it not possible for us to make it. So now I'm out 80€ and walking around with jacked up nails! Never again! read more

I've gone here six months. Sandra is excellent. She takes care in all processes to have acrylic nails. I used to hurt with the heat lamps at another place. No pain. I was told that's proper. Yeah! Proper nail care. Really makes me happy and wide range of colors to choose! Great place! read more

First time walking in American Nail Spa it looked clean, professional, beautiful, and fun. The staff is very professional, it was very clean inside, and the staff is very friendly! They speak perfect English so if your an American you won't have any problems here. Natascha did my Eyelash Extension, it is my first time getting this done and i read some horror stories but she explained everything to a T! And assured me the products they use are certified and won't irritate or get infected. They are located across the cemetery in Landstuhl right in the city center. There is parking right outside their business and down the road. Their prices are moderate, definitely worth your money. I would recommend them to my friends and coworkers. :) read more

I'm not sure which blonde curly hair nail tech was working tonight but she was incredibly disrespectful towards me and laughed in my face when I asked if she could squeeze me in tonight. I needed help fixing a mishap and instead was ridiculed for not being familiar with the shops "appointment only" process. Had she simply informed me politely and professionally of the online appointment scheduling I wouldn't have been so taken aback. But rather she mocked me stating "how cute" it was thinking I would be able to squeeze in tonight & then included the client she was with stating "my client is smirking as well." read more

Do NOT go here. It's a waste of money. Got gel nails. They didn't even last a whole week. They're expensive. They pause to text while doing your nails. They have an absurd cancelation fee that even the owner doesn't follow. Says if you cancel before 24 hrs it's 50% of the service you were going to get and owner still wanted to charge whole price. No ma'am. Even the workers are scared of the owner that they would rather give you their tips to refund the other 50% than make her unhappy. Never again. read more

This place is great! Ms Morgan has been doing nails for a long long time and it shows in the quality of her salon. I took advantage of a last minute cancellation and I'm so glad they could fit me in. I have been going to American Nail Spa for two years now and I will NOT let anyone else touch my lashes! Natascha, the owner, has exceptional customer service and is always willing to go the extra mile to get me an appointment that works around my busy schedule. Not only does Natascha know how to run a business, she understands quality and is a perfectionist. My lashes always feel light, not clumpy from glue and when they shed Its very natural looking.
