Stopped by today since the phones didn't work, and the doors were locked and the lights were off. I needed the Doctor to review my use of the CPAP machine that he prescribed so that I could get my insurance to pay for the supplies. Nothing! No forwarding address, no transfer you to another number, and no sign on the door. Now i have a machine, that I will have to buy the supplies to operate because I cannot get a Doctor's Signature. Awesome experience! They have amazing front desk and technicians as well as an experienced doctor. Everyone seems really knowledgeable. I initially wanted to do an in-house study, but after talking with the staff they were able to accommodate my extremely busy schedule by allowing me to use an in-home study. The technician informed me of the proper procedure and I was in and out within 10mins. Great experience and I am now sleeping better than ever! read more

I have been trying to get an appointment since November. It is now 2/18/21. I have now had 2 appointments that were cancelled from their end, and both were tele med visits, one was in December, the other was today which was the next available. Just an aside note, I am also a healthcare worker, but my job is considered essential and not only do I have to see my patients face to face, but I am expected to be there, on time, snow, rain, hurricane, no excuses. I might have taken an excuse had they called, emailed, texted, or made a posting to the virtual waiting room so that I didn't waste 45 min waiting on something that would never happen, but apparently sleep apnea isn't as dangerous as they advertise, or they have so much business that they can blow off anyone whose appointment becomes inconvenient. The lady that works in scheduling will blow up your phone, but when it comes time for your appointment there will be crickets. Maybe I am angry and bitter that the specialists can just shut down due to COVID, snow, taking a vacation or any other reason, but it is still unprofessional to cancel an appointment with no notice and had it been the other way around and I just chose not to show up, you can bet that they would have billed me for the visit. read more

This is an excellent facility, rooms are nice and clean, hotel like. The sleep technician was very professional and was able to answer all my questions. Dr. Mahmood Dweik is very professional and knowledgeable. He takes his time and answers all your questions. Overall I would have given the experience 5 stars. The reason for the low rating was because of a follow up appointment that was given to me dated 11/27, which I initially questioned because it fell the day before Thanksgiving. I was assured that I would be seen that date. My initial sleep study was done on 10/2/19. I had to change previous plans for that week in order to make this appointment. After driving an hour through the holiday traffic, I arrived for the appointment only to find out, that I had no appointment. Apparently the appointment was never entered or it was canceled and I was never notified. What made things worse instead of apologizing the clerk started questioning whether I was at the right business. My mistake was that I left my appointment card at, I never figured I would have to carry it with me to show some clerk, that no I just didn't make this appointment up. I chose this location for my sleep study because it was in Network and less traffic to get to. Like I mentioned, they have top rate facilities and doctor. I want to complete my follow-up with this doctor, but after that I will never utilize American Sleep Medicine. read more
