First of all I wanted to say that I just moved from CA to TX & of course I needed to open a new bank account. My lovely step-daughter had refereed Regions Bank on South Broadway in Tyler to me. On March 27th I went in to open my account & we were just starting social distancing due to the Corona virus. So I did all my business at the drive up ATM & I was greeted with the nicest, friendliest, caring, knowledgeable & professional people I have ever met. Stephany, Jessica & William were so nice to me & I kinda thought it was maybe because we had to do this business thru the ATM & what I realized as I was driving away was that wasn't it at all. It was because all 3 of them really did care & they were all amazing employees!! I have had to call the bank a couple of times due to questions & every time I'm greeted with such kindness, but the best was when Stephany called me not once but twice to make sure all was going ok & I told her I was having a hard time signing into the app & sure enough with her kindness & her professionalism she got me in & all set up today. I know I would of never been able to do this on my own so I was very grateful for her calls. As a result of the staff at the Regions Bank on S. I had heard the advertisements for Austin Bank on KTBB radio, and liked what I have heard. I pulled over and checked the bank out, particularly the location on Old Bullard, and read the "one star" reviews from "Sweetness", Patrick, and Debra. Patrick's and Debra's are obviously personal grudges about work issues. When I read Sweetness complaining about Debbie Finley's questions, I knew the review was based on misunderstanding - Debbie was asking questions required to open an account at any bank - these are safeguards introduced by the Feds to interdict money laundering, drug revenue, terrorist funding, and other forms of fraud. I went to the bank and specifically asked for Debbie Finley. She asked me the same questions and more, as I was opening a business account. She was professional, pleasant, and helpful. She offered some options and helped me understand which would be the best fit for my business needs. I detected no falseness in her approach, she is a professional at every level, and a very competent representative of Austin Bank. In fact, everyone in the Bank I have dealt with has demonstrated high levels of professionalism, courteous service, and friendly attitudes. Life lesson, folks: Sometime you are so blinded by your own attitude you miss what is really coming at you. Need to open an account - go see Debbie Finley, just understand she has a job to do, one required by the federal laws and regulations, and she does her job - I wish everyone did!

We are retiring out here from the "big city." Let me tell you, most of you people complaining here really add credence to the term of "hicks!" Half of you can't spell, nor form even a proper sentence without sounding like some ignorant hillbillies living out of a van down by the river! So my experience with this bank in Frankston was A+! We are opening an account here at this bank and they've been nothing but polite, pleasant and utterly professional! The employees seem to follow the rules of how banking is regulated and done in this country. Many complainers here just don't understand how a bank must have certain safeguards and procedures to protect not only their own customers, but their business as well. So stop with all the unwarranted hate and maybe get to know your bankers a little bit more. It might help change your attitude for the better. This bank branch in Frankston is outstanding. They helped us several times and even before we ever opened an account there. We look forward to establishing a relationship with this nice customer oriented bank in the future.
