I got a hold of them and checked to see if they could still make it over since my tennants were only available that day. They said yes theyd head right over and then never showed up! I made a follow up call and coudnt get though for multiple days. Left messages. No returned calls. Finally got through and asked to set up another time. Said Id get a call back. NOTHING! obviously not interested in getting buisness or quality reviews. I think twice before working with them. My tennants did mention that a week later they found a pamphlet and buisness card from them on our door. weird!?

Not high level craftsmanship and had repaired by another company one month after they left.

I am please with the work they both did and would not hesitage to contract with them in the future. Tom Kilraine was very responsive -- answers emails within a day or less (sometimes hours), arrived when they said they would, and did a last minute ask (zinc strip on the roof) for me the same day. The price was reasonable; they were not the cheapest, but they do quality work. I would hire them again.

We just discovered a huge leak in our kitchen during a remodel as a result of a hack job done…read morefixing step flashing that a previous Home Depot subcontractor didn't install correctly. They left at least two holes in the side of the house and just caulked the layers underneath where other shingles should have been put. When I called, they claimed they new it wasn't right but there was nothing they could do. The Better business bureau will be hearing from us next.

The estimate came way below the other 2 we got. We didn't go with them because if price.... but the initial inspection. The crew of 5 guys were amazing. They arrived at 8 and got right to work after setting up. No radios, no one smoking and no breaks till 12 noon. An hour tonthe minute they were back to work. We had an issue with wood roof members and I decided to re apply the entire roof with new wood. We weren't taken advantage of and still came below the other estimates. Clean up at 6 each night WS done in a manner you'd never really know they were there. When we needed the additional wood it arrived in time for the install. Job supervisor dropped the job twice each day. I would highly recommend Better Built for your home repairs and renovations

Victory Plus replaced four double-hung vinyl windows at a rental property for me. While his work…read morewas OK the experience as a whole left a lot to be desired. First of all the project was months behind schedule. Victor said he was sick for over a month when he was supposed to install so that put us behind to begin with. People get sick so this is excusable, but that wasn't the end of it. When the scheduled (delayed) install date came up I got a call the day before where he informed me the windows hadn't been ordered at all. Apparently a quote was generated but the order wasn't placed. This resulted in a further 4-5 week delay. Had Victor actually checked for an order confirmation this second delay wouldn't have happened. On the day of the install Victor told me he would show up by 9am to start. He didn't show up till 11am. On day 2 of the install he again said he would be there by 9am but didn't show till 10am. Not much respect for my time as I had scheduled open slots in between meetings to get him started on the job. The next issue was with the charge to get rid of the old windows. He had included this in the original quote but said that the dump had increased the minimum charge a lot so he wanted me to share the cost. I declined to do this and he got very rude about it with me. I didn't appreciate that one bit, given that the increased cost of the dump could have happened during the long delay and so I wasn't responsible for it. Finally the job included paint and trim repair. He did do this but not that well as he was rushing to get to something else. Had he showed up on time he wouldn't have had to rush but somehow me insisting that I would pay the balance once the job was completed made me an a-hole. He got very pissed off at me and yelled at me that "I knew you were this type of guy when you refused to pay for the increased dump fee." Overall his work was OK but the rest of the experience was lousy. Would not use this contractor again.
