They also have clean bathrooms and showers for changing and cleaning up after a workout. Sam and the other trainers really understand what they are doing and really push you to workout hard in each class but without being the annoying motivated cheerleader type. The classes are smaller so you can get more quality attention from the trainers and they also will help you with diet needs and have an "InBody" machine to measure your body fat percentage and measure other body compositions. The workouts aren't easy but if you are committed to getting better then this is the place for you.

Every time I'm in here, I'm putting away 4 attachments just so I can use a lat pull-down (attachments are scattered on the floor like crazy). Absolutely outrageous that I should be cleaning up after so many people. Machines are constantly broken here as well. All in all, not sure if it's the community that's lazy, or if it's the workers that are too lazy to do any kind of work. Probably a combination of both.

The race they ran (walked) prior to the crossfit competition was very well organized and they gave special announcements/awards for several of the participants. The games themselves were well organized. They communicated very well how everything was going to be ran and where you needed to be and at what time. They kept everything flowing and finished on time (relatively close...delayed a little from the run prior to the event). Staff is friendly and worked the event very well, communicating with participants what they needed to do next and directed them to the next station, quickly, upon completion of the current event. You will never find a more welcoming atmosphere, homey feeling place than this box. I evacuated to Alabama during irma and while here this place became my home, everyone from the owners Lance and Jamie to every coach and athlete at this box were amazing, beyond anything I could have asked for dropping in. This box is big, spacious, clean, well taken care of. Even with big classes there was never the feeling of stacking on top of each other during a workout. All equipment is well maintained and kept up from rowers, bars, the rig, wall balls, kettle bells, dumbbells, rings, everything is great. Every coach is well skilled and versed in the movements, modifications and willing to help you find the right thing to get the most of your workout. They encourage, coach, teach, and foster before, during and after the WODS. They take the time to get to know you, not once did I feel unwelcome, but always felt like this was just my normal box. I didn't miss a day of the 8 days I was here I loved it. One of the coolest things they have here to is a heart and passion for people and the community around including kids, and special needs. They offer kids Crossfit but also once a week have a special hour for kids with special needs come and they work with them in skills such as just walking up the steps, benching the PVC, sitting up on their own. It's truly amazing to see. The workouts are never the same, they encourage strength 3/4 times a week as well has everyone dreaded, my favorite running day WODS. Open Gym is also available during the day in which any coach there will help you with techniques that you're working on. If you're coming through town or near it I highly encourage you to seek this box out and become part of the amazing community and family this place fosters. I previously was an OTF member but classes were not as challenging and coaches never pushed you. At the Grind, you'll have coaches that are passionate about proper form and working muscles groups to fatigue. I have not trained like this since college. Additionally, the body scan is very in depth and can help you with your fitness goals. I'm also being personally trained by Kyle. He is certified in many areas of physical training and has his own app to track your macros, fitness workouts, etc. This gym is amazing and has a fair price. People here are of all ages and it is diverse. My only grievance is I want more HIIT classes times. However, they offer booty band classes by Leslie a former body builder and boxing classes by Carlos! Shout out to Kyle and Stephanie who are my favorite coaches to see! The accounting system is antiquated. I took over payments May 2024 for my daughter when she…read moregraduated. I was charged for a a payment they said never went through in October 2023. This was a 2 year membership paying premier membership prices. Never any issues until she graduated?!? I have no way of checking the card that was used for payments. Check your card monthly for errors, this not the first time I have had problems with the billing at an orange theory. Also the summer suspension fee jumped from 2 dollars in 2022 to 15 dollars in 2023. ‍
