I had been a 'Botox vagrant' for about a year after my longtime provider left RI. I tried other providers who were delivering poor results and/or had (borderline) predatory pricing. Online booking was very simple & straightforward, which I prefer to calling in for an appointment. I arrived at the office first thing the morning of my appointment & found it to be clean, discreet & well appointed. Upon my initial consultation, Stephanie listened carefully & thoughtfully to my concerns & proposed a multi step treatment plan to accomplish my goals while remaining sensitive to the costs involved, too. At this initial consultation I happened to mention some unrelated symptoms I had been dealing with. Stephanie suggested I get my hormone levels checked because my symptoms were indicative of a hormonal imbalance. Stephanie was willing to write the order to have the requisite labs drawn, something neither my PCP or GYN had been willing to do to date. My symptoms had gone largely dismissed by my healthcare team for several years, which was incredibly frustrating. Sure enough, when the results came back, I was depleted in necessary hormones that correlated with the symptoms I was experiencing. No one closely looked at my face or scars when I came in for the consult. One person looked at my face without any type of magnifier, just across the desk from where i shelled out 2,400 bucks because I was told the treatment works for scars. I will post my complaint nand pictures to as many media outlets possible to save others from the same predicament and to tell how SkinMD remedies this if at all. I'm sure the Neogen Plasma works, but no one should be sold something that has no value to them. Finally, The procedure was painful. The gel used supposedly has anesthetic/ numbing properties, yet it was less than 10 seconds between applying it and hitting my skin with the treatment wand. Maybe because it was Friday at 5pm and the technician was in a hurry to get done for the week that the few seconds to let me numb up a bit were not spared? My eyelashes got singed along with some of my hairline, red raw skin spots resulted and remained raw for 4 weeks after treatment.. Evidently these areas were done "extra" ; around my scars and in random areas that seem more like errors in the procedure than purposeful. The raw skin I don't think healed better with the 100 dollar plus after treatment cream they insisted worked wonders. I hope to get a refund at the least. (The painkillers and tranquilizers also helped a lot :). It's been about 5 weeks and I had a follow-up visit the other day; all is healing well. The only think I think could have improved my experience is better information and details about the healing process and after-care. I wasn't aware that it can take up to 6 months for full healing, which I learned on my own through research at at y follow-up visit. I've also learned more on my own about the vital importance of the compression garment. They mentioned it briefly, but more in-depth details would have been good. I would also have liked a compression garment that fitted me better; I had to alter the one they provided because the shoulder straps were too short and not adjustable. I've purchased another garment to use, and also plan to get a lymphatic massage to aid in scar tissue smoothing and fluid removal. I suggest that SkinMD provide a brochure with detailed after-care information and healing time, and links to reputable websites and videos about healing and self-care. But overall I'm happy with my results - no regrets! - the price was reasonable and everyone has been professional and friendly. Thank you -

When I asked the med spa to consider a partial refund, there was no willingness to discuss it--instead, I was pressured to purchase additional treatments. When I requested a full refund, I was told that results were "not guaranteed." I have filed a report with the Rhode Island Attorney General's Consumer Affairs Division because I believe the marketing surrounding these services is misleading. I hope others read this and avoid wasting their time and money as I did. As an aside, the doctor also provided three sessions of Emsculpt, which were equally ineffective--I get a better workout doing regular crunches.

Certainly understandable given the circumstances. When my Granddaughter and I were able to come up with another mutually agreeable time for our facials, I telephoned them to reschedule. I informed her that our coupons had now expired but she said it was perfectly fine. As we were booking the appointments, she suddenly said "oh, I''m sorry, we can't take your expired Groupon". Someone there was telling her that they wouldn't honor it. I have had Groupons expire before and I am fine with whatever the business says, but in this particular case, it's the business that canceled our appointments and our Groupons were not expired on that original date. I guess it's a sign, but I also think this is poor business practice, and for her to go from a very cheery "yes we can take your expired Groupon" to, "oh sorry, we can't honor it" in a matter of seconds speaks volumes of their complete lack of professionalism. Oh, did I mention that the Groupon expired on March 24, 2026 and I tried to reschedule with it on March 26, 2026. Two whole days!!! Of course we have to respect the decision of the business, but really!!! You are on Groupon because you are trying to increase business, or at least that's how I believe it works, and this is how you conduct business with potential future clientele. Oh well! Parking is horrible down in the area where they are located anyway.

I was quoted 4.25 per unit for Dysport but once constituted it's closer to 12$. I also got 2 syringes of restalyne filler for $900 when the rate for the area (Fall River) is closer to $650-$800. There were no calls for follow up care post procedure as best practice. I did a Moxi treatment as well and received a burn on my chest per a follow up visit with my board certified dermatologist. When inquiring with my provider she pushed it back on me saying it was due to sweat rather than too many passes across a bone dense area which seemed to dodge their accountability and transparency. I have been a medical aesthetician for 17 years and in the industry doing outside sales for 5. I have no problem paying premium price when patient care and service are a priority but I didn't see this at this establishment. My provider was also 30 plus minutes late for each service with no acknowledgement or apology for this. While the artistry is great the business best practice and patient service I found to be lacking. Unfortunately feels like a heavily marketed money grab.

Dr. Goldstein was informative and he discussed my expectations for the procedures to get to where I want my skin to be which was to smooth out uneven skin tone and fade some old acne scars. I noticed a significant difference in pore size on my nose too (which is a problematic area) I'm looking forward to seeing them again especially in their new location.
