Amerigas took over my small local gas company and proceeded to raise gas prices and tank rental prices and lower the quality of service. I've just been on hold 30 minutes on the phone trying to cancel. I finally hung up and tried the chat function on their site. 30 minutes to cancel with an online chat agent. Should be 5. My new company is charging $3.20 per gallon. Amerigas, $4.99. Oh, it gets better. They want to charge $299 to pick up the tank and $119 to come out and get it. $418 to close my account. . They are the crappiest company ever. My Attorney General is investigating them.. I have children and ordered propane last week Feb 11. Turns out I had an outstanding bill which is funny because I have to prepay. Paid the outstanding ordered then 200 gallons then was told I'm on a delivery hold. 10 phone calls and a week later we are out of gas with no delivery. But their agents you can't understand offered to deliver in 24 hours for a $300 fee. Thank God my phone records.Your delivery driver showed up Feb 19th after of course waiting until my tank was empty performed a fuel check he said was free and added 232.00 to my bill.Refused to light the pilot light so we still have no heat. We are not paying it. We will not be doing any type of business with your company ever again. read more

This company deserves 0 stars. I was given three dates that my propane would be delivered and to my surprise IT HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED. It is winter and cold inside my house as I'm now at 0%. Earlier this month I was charged $200 for reporting that I smelled gas. Of course I was instructed to leave my home. The technician told me he would call me once he arrived to check things out. He did NOT. I saw him in my yard on my ring camera so I returned home. Though he found no leak the charge showed up on my account within 24 hours. To shell out several hundreds of dollars each month for heat and be cold is unacceptable!! read more

AmeriGas are crooks. When placing the order I specifically asked about the price of the gas and any additional charges. She rattled them off and I wrote it all down. When the invoice came, there were three additional charges, essentially doubling the amount I was quoted. Amerigas sucks! Customers mean nothing to them. No matter if you need gas or not they don't care. I'm without gas to cook or heat and when I call they say standard delivery is 7 days. None of us are perfect by any means but when the website says we'll get you filled ASAP, that's a lie! They are 16 miles from me and can't seem to find time to fill my tank til after the holidays with temps dipping down in the single digits. One time it's $200 additional for emergency then two days later it's $300. How do they even have customers after this crappy service they have. All they can say is that's our policy. Will be changing companies, good luck on staying in business with this horrible customer service. read more

The worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. I was told my gas would be here on the 17th of feb. I still haven't received the delivery yet. Called 3 days in A row since we are completely out of gas. Nobody seemed to care. Just kept getting the run around. Canceled my service today and going back with a local company that actually cares about their customers. I wouldn't advise anybody to waste their time with this terrible company. Amerigas took over Faust Fuels. Please do not use this company. We decided to have a generator put in around July 2020. Their customer service is nonexistent. They missed appointments, did not show up, and when they did show up they never completely fixed the problem. Since the tank was put in and hooked up to the generator we have had them out five or more times. The system does not work. They changed the regulators and checked the gas line. We still do not have a generator that works. Close to a $20,000 investment and it does not work. Our next step is getting a lawyer to take them to court to have them rip out the system and refund our money. We are patient people, however,, our patience has run out. read more
