I prefer having face to face interaction and as a customer that should be respected. However, it should not take over an hour to talk to anyone let alone a customer. They wait until Sunday (the day they are closed) to charge me and then charge the $35 overdraft fee. This time it happened twice resulting in a $70 fee. They explained that they have an ATM but that was after the fee and I already explained that I didn't know that and that I prefer face to face. If someone doesn't want to do telemedicine because they are not comfortable with it then they go somewhere else which is what I am going to do. Do you know how many ATMS are hacked and or stolen? Why would I come by and put my money in an ATM late at night putting my money at risk? I asked them to close the account and paid what I owed but told them I'm not paying the overdraft fee because that was ridiculous. I understand they have an overdraft fee but they don't understand that I cannot always make it to the bank. My gf is with another bank (Innovations) and they gladly repaid the overdraft fees up to $300. They understand that the overdraft fee is outrageous especially when the fee is automatically taken out sometimes before the original charge has even gone through. Ultimately, I have decided to move to Innovations as my experiences with them have been more positive and everyone is more helpful there. Wells Fargo talks about equality but they are not for the lower or middle class who have to worry about overdraft fees and other such concerns. I suggest others stay away from this bank, even though they are one of the oldest banks in America they still do not have the banking system figured out.

My experience with Wells Fargo has been one of the most…read morefrustrating and disappointing experiences I have ever had with a financial institution. I was the victim of a very clear scam involving fraudulent checks and activity on my account. I immediately reported the issue and filed fraud claims, expecting my bank to investigate and protect my account. Instead, Wells Fargo denied both of my fraud claims and refused to return the money that was taken from my account. What makes this even more concerning is that when Wells Fargo sent me copies of the checks involved, they clearly showed that the checks were written by an individual not the company I was told they were from. Despite this obvious red flag, the bank still refused to acknowledge the fraud. Even more troubling is that there were no fraud alerts, no calls, and no attempt from the bank to protect my account or verify suspicious activity. Customers trust banks to safeguard their money and identify unusual transactions, and in this case, Wells Fargo completely failed to do that. On top of the fraud issue, Wells Fargo also refused to honor the $325 promotional bonus that I was supposed to receive when opening my account. I did not receive the promotional code until after the account was opened, and their own website stated that I could provide the code by calling or visiting a branch. I made multiple attempts to do exactly that. I first tried to give the code to Raphael, who told me he could not accept it. I then attempted to provide it to a branch manager who was in training, and he also refused to accept it. Wells Fargo still is not taking any accountability for their lack of protection in this case. It is very clear they do not want to take care of their customers. I would strongly caution anyone against falling for their so-called promotional bonuses they are misleading at best, especially if you open an account online without working directly with a representative. In my experience, they do not honor what they advertise. This entire situation shows a serious lack of accountability and customer protection. When a bank refuses to stand behind its customers in cases of clear fraud and ignores its own promotional commitments, it raises serious concerns about how they treat the people who trust them with their money. I would strongly urge anyone considering banking with Wells Fargo to think carefully before doing so. Someone needs to investigate them - if you look at their reviews on google, trust pilot, wherever you will see many customers have basically the same type of concern. and they are not a institution that takes care of their customers but they dont mind taking from their customers. and its obvious. I also feel like something needs to be done and addressed before they continue to financially hurt other people.

I have multiple banks and Tyndall FCU's digital operability is by far the worst due to instability and just inability to quickly find the easiest of information (like member number). Recently was told to "pick up a new debit card, drive 20 minutes to location near Best Buy, stood in line for 15 minutes, was told "have a seat we will make one", wait another 15 minutes, then I'm told "they made one it's at Lynn Haven branch. The ability to communicate here is lacking and it costs customers hours of their day. Despite the negative experiences they are one of the best local banks and having brick and mortar locations is nice. I'll update to more stars if I see improvement. *Update* the Lynn Haven "card pickup" is poorly marked you have to drive around the lot to find it. Additionally, the Lynn Haven branch is understaffed with long wait times. The replacement of my debit card has consumed half a day at this point. I'm not sure what everyone's time is worth but folks should take it into consideration when banking here. Evidence suggests the simplest of tasks like a debit card replacement is a major undertaking. App hasn't worked in over a month and bank employee told me "yeah that's been happening to a lot of users". Will be investigating other options.

They terminated my vehicle redemption rights through an informal email that did not meet legal requirements. They held my vehicle for 46 days after telling me redemption was over -- while ignoring every inquiry I sent about the sale. They never provided a post-sale accounting I was legally entitled to receive. When I escalated formally they attempted to have me sign away my federal consumer rights through a release agreement. I declined. Equifax independently removed their credit reporting. Complaints are active with the CFPB, Florida OFR, and NCUA. This is not a frustrated customer venting. This is a documented record of institutional misconduct. I want to be explicitly clear on the release: I am aware that FCRA rights cannot be waived by a consumer. Federal statutory rights granted under 15 U.S.C. § 1681s-2, § 1681n, and § 16810 are non-waivable and cannot be extinguished through a private agreement - particularly one drafted by the party who committed the violations. Presenting a broad Release and Hold Harmless Agreement as a condition of resolution, when the underlying rights are non-waivable by law, may itself constitute an unfair and deceptive practice under Florida UDAP statutes and federal consumer protection law.
