I will post a detailed msg on as many pages in Yuma as possible tomorrow to bring awareness to the rest of the community of Yuma. It's time people know the truth behind this school and what to look out for in your child such as physical symptoms.

I went to DVA from kinder to 5th grade it was an amazing school there are so many good teachers…read moretoo. They really do go above and beyond when teaching students. I had a great 6 years there. Then I went to DVMHS from 6th to 8th grade this school is garbage. At first I was gonna go there for high school but I soon realized within my first week there I was not going to stay there for high school. This school is trying to be a normal school in an office building. No good teachers want to work or even know about this school so they get all the extra teachers. Same with students all of the students here just have gotten expelled from other school so they have to go here. If you go here for high school your credits wont transfer to other high schools correctly if you decide to leave you will have to retake classes.

Spoke to that Alka lady and she didn't seem to concerned about the issues regarding bullying I raised, or my child's mental health. She made little effort in assuring me that she would look into the matter, or that the matter would be handled. Thank God this is my youngest and after her, won't ever have to deal with this school district that doesn't care about our children. She was just your typical school administrator who is there to collect a paycheck and a paycheck she doesn't even earn properly.
