One star only because zero stars isn't an option! We ordered a bathroom vanity at the beginning of November, and we were told it would arrive in early January. Given the delays with Canada Post, we were patient and understood. However, January came, and the delivery was pushed to the end of the month. When the end of January arrived--still no vanity. Worse, no one contacted us, no email, no update--nothing. We had to call ourselves, and the response was completely unhelpful. They told us, "It's not our problem; we don't know when it will arrive. It's the delivery service's issue. It should be there soon." When we asked to speak to a manager or supervisor, they said they would send a request, and someone would contact us within 48 hours. Two weeks passed, and no one reached out. When we followed up again, they shifted the blame to the supplier, saying the item was out of stock and would now arrive in March. So, we waited until March--still nothing. When we called back yet again, they repeated the same excuse and promised (once more) that a manager or supervisor would call us back. It has now been 10 days, and still nothing. We just called again, and the representative was rude and defensive. She said it wasn't her fault and that she didn't even know if we would get our money back! How is this acceptable?! This level of unprofessionalism is unbelievable. We have asked repeatedly to speak to a supervisor, and every time, we are told a request will be sent--but no one ever follows up. What are we supposed to do at this point?! read more

Horrible extended warranty. After purchasing a Whirlpool fridge almost 2 years ago it stopped working. I had to wait 2 weeks for someone to look at it. The compressor broke. Fantastic customer service at the store. Very impressed. However, the product and the service is a complete disaster. The product arrived and the table does not elongate. I was patient and waited for a replacement. The replacement arrived and does not elongate either. Not interested in any Tanguay products. Zero Value. I asked for a return and reimbursement. Customer service cannot tell me when a superviser will call me back. I have setup my Credit card to dispute this transaction. Terrible, and will NOT recommend. read more

La première fois, livraison du BBQ, tout est allé ok. Sauf pour le livreur qui me demande un tip pour l'apporter en arrière. Ce matin, un réfrigérateur doit être livré entre 10:15 et 13:15. Il est 13:20. Le conducteur me contacte ce matin à 10h55 disant qu'il serait là dans 20 minutes = 11:15. Je les rappelle à 11:45 pour me faire dire qu'ils sont coincés chez l'autre client. Brand new stove broke after 1 month - 3 weeks without a stove, and still counting... I have no stove for what has now been 3 weeks. The stove was new, received in late June. After a month, the stove broke while I was boiling water. First time the technician came, he did not have the details even though they were sent to Tanguay prior to the visit. The second time he came, he had ordered the wrong part. So I had to stay home from work 2 times now and still, I have no stove. Tanguay says it does not compensate for the inconvenience. Yet, it's recognized that a stove is an essential piece of household furniture, and in the meantime I can't enjoy my home because of Tanguay's fault. Very disappointed with Tanguay's service. 100% would not recommend. read more

Terrible service. I ordered pans on Jan 6th and I haven't heard a peep. No estimated delivery date, nothing. I called their customer service line and was told it will be shipped by end of this week and we are the 13th. 2 weeks to ship a pan out from the same province I live....not the service I'm accustomed to with other companies unfortunately. Pire service après vente. Un fauteuil électrique qui arrête de fontionner après 3 mois (power supply défectueux). Ca leur a pris 1 mois avant qu'on me contacte suite à mon appel de service, ensuite quelques jours plus tard, vidéo conférence avec un technicien pour prouver que c'est bel et bien un problème de power supply. Aucun problème on vous envoit ça... aucune autre nouvelle depuis. J'ai appelé à plusieurs reprises pour fair eun suivi car eux n'en font pas de suivi avec leur clients. On me répond à chaque fois qu'il vont regarder dans le système ce qui se passe mais personne ne me contacte... après 6 mois et 3-4 appels, j'abandonne. Perte de temps total avec cette entreprise. Plus jamais. J'ai commandé le power supply sur Amazon avan même qu'on me contacte (une chance sinon imaginez 6 mois et plus avec un fauteuil défecteux... wow) read more

impossible de reserver une plage de livraison en ligne. le livreur est passe le mercredi, j'etais au travail, alors on me dit qu'il ne font pas de dépôt sur place alors ils ont remmener à l'entrepôt. Je rapelle pour remettre la livraison au samedi, on m'appelle le vendredi pour me dire que la livraison de lundi a été remise à mercredi... je rappelle donc pour éclaircir la situation et le commis s'énerve avec moi et annule la commande au complet au téléphone. Used to be Brault & Martineau. 1. Bought a refrigerator and one day later, I noticed there was heavy frost and ice in the freezer. Called for service and after one week, no one has even called to schedule a visit. 2. I noticed on their website that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. The sales rep did not tell me this in the store, nor is it written on my bill. They sell a lot of merchandise now besides furniture and appliances (small appliances, bicycles, sheets, etc.) and none is returnable if you change your mind? That's like Dollarama but no one is spending hundreds of dollars there. I wonder how many phone calls it will take to get my fridge repaired or replaced? read more

Maybe im unlucky , but i bought a 3200 $ chair , right at the beginning it felt weird, well 4 month later its broken, in two parts in the middle of my kitchen , unsafe to sit like the repair said and now i have to wait month for the pieces. So for 3200$ i could hardly enjoyed my chair so far. Bought a popcorn maker two months later. the door and the cup holder was broken after 2 usage.... Real cheap stuff at a premium price.
