I contacted a few tree services to get estimates for removing multiple trees. These trees had been growing at an angle for years and were hanging over my house. I even had a branch from one of the trees fall off during a recent storm and pierce my roof into my bedroom ceiling! Isael and Fernando spent about 45 minutes at my house looking at and discussing the trees I wanted taken out as well as a couple of other trees I needed trimmed. Amigo tree service gave me the best price and seemed much more confident in their ability to remove the dangerous trees than the competing tree service providers. The crew showed up right on time on the agreed upon date and immediately got to work. I was impressed with their tree climbing ability - it was like they were running up the trees! I had 5 trees taken down and 2 trimmed. All of these trees were in my backyard, hanging over my house and shed, my neighbors house and shed as well as the power, cable, and phone lines to both of our houses. The job took 2 days in total. 12 hours the first day and 8 the second. Amigo tree service removed all of the wood and debris in their giant dump truck and cleaned up my yard before they left. We had 2 trees that we wanted cut down and one of them was very close to the house which if not cut down, would have caused foundation problems in the future with its roots. We contacted Roberto for an estimate. He came over and we explained all that we wanted completed and he was very thorough in his explanation of the work he would do. The price was extremely competitive without a doubt and we asked him to complete the job. (We had received 3 other estimates which were higher because they stated they would have to hire a crane as one of the trees was too close to the house) Roberto and his crew arrived on time and began working. We were impressed by their work routine, attention to safety and overall quality of work. They worked all day and completed the job as required. After both trees were down, they cleaned up the entire work area including the driveway and surrounding areas. I was referred to Amigo Tree Service by a friend, and I was very pleased with their service! The owner, Roberto, called me back the same day, came for an estimate within a few days (bc of my work schedule), told me exactly what the services would cost, gave me options for saving money, or having extra work done. Very fair cost and his crew did the work about a week later. Crew leader Arnu walked around with me before they started, to verify exactly what I wanted done, and reviewed everything with me at completion. The crew was efficient, professional, and cleaned up all around my house so I didn't have to do anything when they were gone. There were no surprise costs. I've had negative experiences with other tree services in the past - took a long time for estimate, and then to do the work, inflated costs, left my property messy, etc. Amigo was so much better, and a great experience! Fantastic Service! Roberto came out and quoted my job and I could tell he really knew a lot about trees. He took the time to really look at and discuss what I needed done instead of just doing a rush through walk like some companies I've had out did. The Crew arrived exactly when they said they would and it was amazing watching them work. I had six large trees removed and a couple small ones in very difficult tight spaces to work in. One triple trunk tree had the house on one side, a garage and septic on another, the other part of the house on the other, and a garden area with a lattice fence on the other. Somehow they managed to do all the work with zero damage. Each crew member knew their job and knew it well. They cleaned up my yard better than it was before they started when they were done. We used the Amigo Tree Service yesterday and I cannot say enough good things about them. Roberto came to our home a week ago and gave us a quote a few days later. It is a very good quote compared to another tree service quote we received. The 5-person crew arrived on time yesterday and worked hard the whole day. They cut 2 large trees (one next to the house and one in the chicken coop) one small piece at a time and trimmed large branches from 2 bigger trees next to the house, and cleaned two vine-ridden bushes and an area of vine-ridden rocky space. They are highly skilled and organized for what they do, design the cut, the drop the cut, and clean as they go. They cleaned again at the end before they leave. This company is very professional. I used them last summer to remove some trees in our yard. We now thought we had a dead tree that needed removal. Roberto came to give us an estimate and when he saw the tree he said it was not dead at all. Just one branch that we could easily remove ourselves since he didn't have any of his equipment with him. He explained how we could do this and also recommended we reposition a hammock we have tied to a tree as it could be damaging the tree. I felt bad having him come over to estimate on a job that was not going to happen but I was glad he was honest and let me know we did not need to do this therefore saving us some money. I recently requested an estimate for tree removal, stump grinding, and pruning from Amigo Tree Services. Their representative came out on a cold rainy day to inspect our trees. He listened to all my questions, shared suggestions, emailed me a detailed estimate/description of the project, and we agreed on work start date. The experienced workmen did an excellent job taking down our 75 foot trees while avoiding any damage to our house, decks, storage building, and brick sidewalk. They made sure all work went to plan, and were kind, courteous, professional, and efficient! All cut wood and trimmings were removed, and our yard was left in clean neat order. We had a very tall, unhealthy tree that needed to be removed. Due to disease on the tree, I would not feel comfortable letting anyone climb it but, had a need to preserve as many surrounding trees as possible. A perfect cut had to be achieved for it to fall. The folks at Amigo spent quite a bit of time discussing amongst themselves and then gave me all of the options. A plan was set, a couple of special trees were tied back and they dropped this tree in the exact location they wanted it to fall. Totally impressed. The other details: Clean up of the debris was geat, they arrived for the consultation on time, gave me an accurate date of removal and priced the job fairly. As others have stated, these guys are professionals to be respected. Give them their space and trust in their skills. To climb and disassemble six 80ft pines in one day and in a confined space with proficiency and precision is impressive. They have a no BS approach and they go above and beyond. This is difficult and dangerous work and their experience showes. Amigo Tree Service is extremely safety focused, friendly, and responsible. As an added bonus, the DIY'er like myself can learn some valuable knowledge from their advice. The prices are very reasonable and I'm more than happy with the results. We live on the corner of Leckford Way near Bond Park in Cary. We had a very large dead tree close to the house. I only received a few quotes as I had several people not get back to me. Isael stopped by to quote the price and came in a couple hundred dollars less than the competition. He was very calm, relaxed and friendly leading me to have confidence in him. His crew showed up promptly Friday, July 3. I took part of the morning off to watch the event. The crew was very friendly and did a terrific job. I called three different places to get estimates, Amigo Tree Services was the only company that called me back, found them on craigslist. I was wowed by the quote and asked them how soon they could do it. They arrived to the job on time and were done within 30-45 minutes cutting down my 12 huge holly trees/bushes. They work fast and do a great job, no damage to the house or yard at all. I thought I would have to go and blow the leaves out of my neighbors yard, NOPE...They took care of it. Raked and blew and cleaned everything up very nicely. They took care to not to disturb the other plants that I had as well. I will ABSOLUTELY use their service again to take down my pines. read more

These guys trimmed my bradford pear last weekend and did an AMAZING job! We should have done this a few years ago... the tree looks fabulous, has been reshaped, they cleaned up all the overgrown branches. We'd lost a couple of big branches due to a lightning strike a couple years ago, but this will help it to fill in as it grows. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up afterwards, the only thing left is the big pile of branches that the town will pick up and run through its chipper. Called on a Tuesday morning. They came by for an estimate hours later. The estimate was quick and fair. They scheduled and returned for Thursday morning and did a great job! I work in Property Management, where responsiveness and things getting done in a timely, professional manner are king. Most tree services I called didn't return my calls, e-mails or texts. The ones I could get a hold of couldn't come out for an estimate for weeks, and then several more weeks to perform the work. I couldn't ask for a better response time out of Amigo Tree Service. I highly recommend these guys! We had a huge oak tree in our backyard that was very close to our house and fence. They removed it safely with no damage to existing structures and best yet... were several hundreds of dollars cheaper than our next lowest quote. Iseal and his brothers went above and beyond by helping load logs onto a trailer and grinding two smaller stumps my husband left behind a month earlier. I had several very large branches extending well into the yard from several trees. There were many small fruit trees that I'd planted below them; trees that needed more sunlight. I was very concerned as to how these massive branches could be brought down without hurting the crowded orchard of juvenile trees below. The crew were wizards. The skillful rope work and meticulous planning allowed for the entire canopy to be removed with extreme care and zero damage to the backyard-orchard. Amigo removed a large, dead pine tree threatening our house and gazebo in Durham. They were extremely professional, worked quickly (safely), and cleaned up every stray leaf and branch. We were impressed by the questions they asked to ensure we had the best experience possible, e.g., "Where is your septic drain field? Would you like the tree cut into 18" sections for your wood stove?" We have already booked them to come back in a week to take out another monster dead tree that is looming over our neighbors' house.
