They don't make furniture here, just deal the Amish brands made in Amish furniture meccas like Holmes County. As a result you can buy anything already in the store as is (great variety!), order one of those same pieces but in a different wood or stain color, or order something completely different in size, shape, etc. The best thing is there is no custom charge - you pay what it costs extra for them to make. Also accepts Visa/Mastercard. This was our 2nd time to Yoder's Furniture and most certainly will be back.

We purchased the "Old Classic" (also referenced as "Old Tyme") set. With any Cherry Valley Furniture purchase, everything is made to order, hence the long wait. We chose the showroom colors and accents, but substituted the hardware (no added cost). The delivery crew were super friendly and professional. Unfortunately, it had started raining, and they went above and beyond to make sure that the furniture wasn't impacted and that they kept our house clean. This is our second major purchase from Cherry Valley. Our previous was outdoor patio furniture. You can guarantee that as long as we're still alive, we will be back for our next big purchase (living room set). For me, stores specializing in Amish furniture usually fall into one of two categories: (1) affordable, but kitschy, country, and not stylish (think "Grandma's cabin"); or (2) high-end, extremely customizable, and VERY pricey (think "Amish Arhaus+"). Wayside Workshop is that rare gem that strikes the perfect balance between offering the quality and style of bespoke furniture dealers while still being approachable both in price and service. Every piece at Wayside reeks of quality (no particle board here!), and even the biggest pieces (like the awesome expanding dining room table I was digging) aren't eye-poppingly expensive. Finally, this review would be incomplete if I did not mention the space itself. Wayside Worship is located in a huge old barn(?) and is exceptionally beautiful inside. Shoppers can explore multiple (open) floors of furniture and home decor, all of which are tastefully decorated with a keen eye for detail. I asked if I would be able to leave the table there for perhaps a week, since I needed to get rid of the old table to make room for the new table. I was told, that would be fine. I was then called on a Friday Morning and told I either had to pick it up by Monday or have it delivered the next morning, for an additional $200 for them to drive 10 miles to my house. They only deliver on Saturdays, I asked what would have happened if I had been out of town, she had no answer, said if they held it for a week, it may get scratched or damaged. This is the worst customer service I have ever received from a company, especially an Amish one. I do not recommend to anyone. Sadly, they are only local Amish furniture store.
