Grassroots has a friendly and welcoming staff, a lovely store, and great smelling candles. The…read morecandles make the perfect gift and come in all sizes and varieties. They are always trying out new scents and I have a hard time deciding. They are also Eco-aware and offer a $1 discount if you have a candle container (they mostly come in Mason jars) refilled. You can also have your own candles filled with any of their scents and pay per ounce. I've picked up some cool containers at thrift shops and the like, as well as brought used containers from decorative candles in to be filled. They have a loyalty program where you get a free candle for every 10 you purchase, and a military discount too. In addition to this store, I've begun seeing their candles for sale at locally owned gift shops in the region. They are definitely up-and-coming and I'm glad I've gotten to see this company grow from its "grassroots"! :)
