I also wrote a personal follow up e mail to the Manager of the B of A branch at Congress and Hypoluxo named Glenn Misbaugh re his extraordinary employee named Joanne who exemplified natural and outstanding cs. This was just before the Super Bowl on 2/1/16. Loved this branch on 441 and LW Rd just south of Wellington but things have changed and the staff is really, really stressed. 1) 10/7/16 - 2:18 pm - VP named Michael in a suit was at the greeter counter. Looked at me ( a bum in shorts, t shirt and a cap) and turned away. This is hilarious, in walks in a lady also in a tank top and shorts and she got" Welcome to B of A, how can we help you? Everything ok after the hurricane!" Wow!! I went over and leaned to see his name tag. I asked Michael if he was ok. " Corporate is stressing me out. They have new rules and requirements every day." I was dying. I wished him a great and peaceful weekend. 2) Wanted to make a large cash deposit at the teller window at 2:23 pm. Teller( also a NYer btw) took the cash and stated, 'we are offline currently and this will have to go in on Tuesday night ( Monday is a holiday) and show up in your available balance on the 12th.' She did give me the option to go to the ATM to get instant credit and so I did. Maybe a sign of the changing times but things are different at this B of A branch. My Mama told me " You better shop around !!" Maybe dust and get the old mattress out and put it in the extra bedroom like good ol' great grandma used to!!

AVOID 5TH / 3RD BANK AT ALL COSTS ...This is the worst bank I have experienced in 55 years. I…read moreopened an account there last year to get the bonus offer they inundated me with in the mail for months. In February, I deposited a check from my attorney (admittedly not the best signature, but many are like that) for over $10,000. They took the check and it cleared immediately; however their fraud dept. thought the signature was suspicious and placed a hold on the funds. No problem, as many banks do that with large checks for 5 business days. Two days later, I received a notice that they were closing my account, and would remit the balance. A week goes by...nothing. I called and discovered they were waiting 30 days after my last transaction before closing the account. The 30 days goes by (actually 35) and I received a check for my balance; but not including the $10,000+. I go to the bank and waste an hour for the 3rd time, and their fraud dept. says they have the money in a holding account (even though it cleared 5 weeks ago) and wants me to have the issuing bank confirm that the check was legitimate before they release the funds. Waste another three hours dealing with that; after which 5th / 3rd finally apologizes for the 1st time; and says they will reinstate my account and make the funds available immediately. I go to my branch (Palmetto Park & Powerline) the next day and they tell me I need to open a new account, which I did (another waste of an hour). I immediately receive 5 emails from 5th/3rd offering me preapproved credit card, telling me my debit card is in the mail, offering me real estate mortgages, and inviting me to apply for a home equity line of credit. Two days later I go there to see why the funds were still not deposited in the new account. Another hour or so before the branch gets off the phone with their fraud dept. & advises me that 5th / 3rd wants to close my account again and I will receive a bank check for the full balance; but need to come back the next day after the funds are transferred to my new account before it will be closed. I return the next day & no manager; so nothing gets done. Another hour wasted. Today I return to the branch and no manager; so I explode while wasting another hour and 15 minutes before I get the check. I then present it and ask for cash; and they tell me that there is a 2% fee because I am no longer a customer, as they just closed my account. I go to the car and drive it thru the doors into the lobby and turn donuts inside the branch for 5 minutes, take all of their pens, coffee mugs and other promotional items; get a free cappuccino out of their machine and drive away. DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK. THEY ARE MORONS AND THIEFS.

Someone that actually knows something about customer…read moreservice and is truly pleasant to be around at her job Angie at the West Boynton Truist off of military Trail is an absolute joy to deal with always upbeat and happy to help with whatever you need, my wife recently needed some bank statements for our taxes, went to the Truist on Congress in Boynton the most horrible experience you could imagine we live about a mile away from it, but we still drive out to military to that branch because Angie makes it worthwhile. Hope somebody in upper management and true sees this because she is truly an asset to your company
