Amvets is a club for veterans. They help out the veterans in any way possible and provide activities that are beneficial and enjoyable to them. This includes karaoke, happy hour, games like queen of hearts and bingo, trivia, and dances with live bands. They do things like basket raffles and POW/MIA Remembrance program ceremonies. The night I was there they had Garrie Woolery and the Backstage Pass playing, and they did an excellent job. People were out on the dance floor, and they were enjoying themselves.
