After days of back-and-forth arguments and her insisting I was wrong, I eventually contacted Farmers' corporate office. Only then did she suddenly revert me back to my original policy and rates, acting as if she wanted to play fair. It felt like she knew she was in the wrong and was trying to avoid being reported. There were also instances where she attempted to double my monthly premium at the end of the year but when I obtained a quote from the same vendor on my own, it was half the price. Why would anyone choose to use her platform only to be overcharged? Lydia doesn't just try to put you on a new policy--she might even push you toward an entirely different insurance company. Despite claiming to be a Farmers agent, she acts more like an insurance quote website, offering various policies and then attempting to charge you double. I initially thought working with a local representative would be beneficial, but in this case, it has been anything but. I would strongly advise against using this insurance company through her.
