Not nice people. Well situated in the Plaza Mayor. But, if you are not a local, you will wait forever for service. Our waitress deliberately ignored us while giving speedy service to the tables with Spanish customers. We tried to order churros, which were prominently advertised on a sign, but our waitress claimed they were out, despite serving them to the tables with Spanish customers. Eventually, she stalked back and threw a basket on our table. Then she disappeared for good. Three of us left and went to a cafe on the other side of the plaza (where we got very good service). The fourth stayed to pay the bill. You would think this would cause her to appear and demand payment, but no. Fifteen minutes later, after the other 3 had been served at the other cafe, the fourth person had to go inside to get the check. We watched another non-Spanish family receive the same treatment. (They were European, not American like us). We spoke Spanish, we tried to be polite and deferential. But, they just don't seem interested in giving equal treatment to everyone. Avoid. Walk 15 feet across the plaza. We received excellent service at two different cafes on the other side of the plaza. read more
