    Seafood Pancake

You can get a variety of different toppings, of which I got the combination seafood and meat, and choose from 1-10 spice level. I got the 9 and it definitely had me sweating! The flavor was really savory and delicious, and they also gave side dishes like kimchi, marinated potatoes, and bean sprouts. The stone pot bibimbap is also a great option is you're not feeling the soup. It came sizzling hot with beef, carrots, spinach, and other veggies. The potion was large and it was filling! The seafood pancake was also really good and had lots of squid in it. The soy sauce that was for dipping paired well with it, and it was slightly crispy on the surface. Service was quick, even though it was busy, and we even had leftovers we could take to enjoy later. They also have parking available right outside the restaurant, although it was tough making a left turn out of it.

I love the side dishes and main dishes. 5 stars for the food. The service is a bit slower this time because it's crowded. They accidentally charged me more than the receipt, but they corrected on the spot when we brought it up.

Vibe: clean, minimal, casual ambiance Service: standard Reservation: didn't make a reservation and was seated as soon as we arrived Items ordered: - original beef tofu soup, medium spicy ($17.95) soondubu needed a little more umami. love that it came with purple rice 7/10 - banchan (sides) complimentary refillable, all were pretty good

My boyfriend and I decided to stop by for lunch over the weekend. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of tables and seats. Although it was pretty busy, the staff was friendly and our food did not take too long to come out. I ordered the galbi (3 pcs) + bibim naengmyeon combo. The bibim naengmyeon was delicious and flavorful. The galbi was tender, nicely seasoned, and paired well with the noodles. My boyfriend ordered the crab soondubu with ramen noodles. They were generous with the crab, and the noodles were cooked perfectly in the soondubu broth. Overall, we were very happy with our dishes and will definitely come back in the future!

An Nyeong is the best Korean food in Austin in my opinion. I have tried a lot of spots around town and this one just better, especially if you are into tofu soups. The tofu soups here are excellent. The flavor is perfectly balanced, not too acidic but still super flavorful, and they are generous with both the meat and tofu. They also give you purple rice, which is a nice touch, along with a solid spread of Korean side dishes. One thing I really like is that they offer 10 levels of spice. I like the level of control over your spice level. I would recommend level 5 for a good kick without it becoming uncomfortable. The place itself is clean and the service is reasonably fast.

This place is good when you're craving Korean and don't want to travel all the way to Hmart. Whenever I want stonepot bibimbap and can't be bothered to go past the Domain, I'll come here for a simple quick meal. Their bonchon selection is limited but still good, especially the shoyu potatoes and japchae. Even though I can still rock with their bibimbap, I just love it when the stone pot is volcanic to the touch and gets the rice blackened with crisp. The decor is very clean and fancy whereas I prefer a more traditional vibe when I eat Korean but I think that's just due to my upbringing. The service is also good as the waiters are helpful and attentive. Not my absolute favorite spot but a good gateway into classic korean food that isn't just BBQ.

I don't know how I haven't rated this restaurant yet, but I've been here so many times and every time I leave full, happy, and satisfied. The food is amazing, and service is prompt. The interior is very simple, Korean casual chic. There hasn't been anything I've ordered here that I was disappointed by. It's definitely my favorite Korean spot in Austin so far!

While exploring Austin my husband searched for a nearby Korean restaurant because my in laws are in town and my (Korean) mother in law wants to eat Korean food almost every day she's here lol I don't mind at all because I love Korean food so much. However, it's always interesting to hear her review and insight. Ok, so again, for me... it was a 10/10 overall. A very modern take on Korean food based on the aesthetic of the restaurant itself and the "young" servers which my mother in law pointed out lol It was exceptional service, for me and their potatoe panchan is 100000000/10 for me! Sooo delicious! I ordered the galbi (Kalbi ribs) and I was floored by how delicious they were. Everything was tasty and they were very generous with portions or "refills" on anything we ordered or asked for. The most surprising thing for us and mostly my MIL is how many people walked in (and mostly Korean) to the restaurant while we ate there. Obviously it's pretty authentic and delicious, if you ask me! I highly! Highly! Recommend! This is my favorite so far, too bad it's in Austin and not SATX where we live. :(

Been here twice, both times for dinner. It's usually pretty busy but service is reasonably efficient. The banchan is something to look forward to when you come visit - love the variety of what they have. They have some good combo offerings that are great deals. Their LA galbi is great, and my friend and I tried their ube brownie was actually really delicious. I'd come back here anytime!!

This is best tofu soup in Austin! You get to customize your spice level (I have lv8, it's def fire). Good time to go in the cold weather, warm your soul right up! Seafood pancake is also great app, perfectly crisp and fresh. Bulgogi is my husband's fav, seasoned well and large portion. I'd come back to try their galbi next time. Also can't forget their banchan , one of the best in Austin. I didn't care for the mayo noodle dish but it's good palates cleanser to tone done spiciness. Service is a bit slow yesterday but it's full house, a little grace goes a long way :)

The restaurant is a bit hard to find, and you may miss it going fast on Burnet, but once you know where you're going, you turn into a parking lot that has a lot of space available, even during peak hours. When you walk into the restaurant you're not greeted right away, it seems like you need to make your presence known around the corner to wave down a waiter to be seated. So far, it's been busy every time I've been, but lucky enough to be seated right away. Once you order, all of the side dishes come out quickly and they are actually fresh. They don't taste like they've been sitting out for a while. I enjoy them so much I usually ask for more halfway through the meal. The main dishes also come out very quickly. Almost suspiciously fast, but since it seems steaming hot every time, I'm not too worried. All the main dishes are very authentic. Anything you order here will taste great. When this place first opened the highest spice setting wasn't that spicy at all, but I think they're using a new pepper, making a 10 pretty spicy! It's bustling, but not loud enough as to not hear the person you're with. One of my favorites in Austin! Will always come back

Soon dubu with kimchi and pork. And beef bibimbap.

FINALLY a good soon dubu place in Austin!!! The tofu soup was so good and the banchan. I will definitely be coming back. My fiance loved the bibimbap too. The restaurant was packed. Try to get there as soon as they open at 5! Even though there was a line, we didn't have to wait too long on a Saturday night.

Generous with the sides dishes and will happily refill. Feels like I'm eating mamas cooking. Had the seafood tofu soup with udon, authentic and delicious. Great service. Plenty of parking.

We didn't get a single bad cut and everything was flavorful and cooked well. What really made this place stand out though was the service. MJ took care of us and was incredible from start to finish. Since it was our first time, she walked us through the menu and even helped cook the meats so we could actually relax and enjoy our time together. She stayed on top of the grill, swapping it out right when needed, and was always checking in to see if we needed anything or wanted more banchan. What stood out the most was how thoughtful she was with my parents. She made sure they had food on their plates without overdoing it, which was such a small detail but meant a lot. The food was great, but MJ really made the experience. Definitely coming back.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and such positive energy. The welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and chill vibe made us feel right at home. Every dish we ordered was outstanding and packed with flavor. The seafood pancake was cooked to crispy perfection, something that's surprisingly hard to find, as it's often left a bit doughy at other restaurants. The steamed egg was light, fluffy, and comforting, while the spicy tofu pork soup was phenomenal. It had just the right amount of heat, with silky, melt-in-your-mouth tofu and incredibly tender pork belly that paired perfectly with a bowl of rice. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. At one point I accidentally dropped my chopsticks, and before I could even ask for another pair, one of the servers noticed from across the restaurant and immediately brought me a new set. It's those small, thoughtful touches that really set a restaurant apart. SOHA exceeded my expectations in every way. Narrow Street 512 serves up Authentic Korean food with a personal touch. It feels like you're eating a home cooked meal at your Aunt's home in Korea. I experienced Narrow Street as a solo diner. My go-to dish I order 90 percent of the time I go there is the Chadol Plate (A3). It is beef brisket. You normally need to go to a KBBQ spot and get covered in a layer of smoke. Skip smelling like a campfire and get A4 at Narrow Street. The beef brisket comes with rice served in a metal bowl. You get 3 or four small plastic containers of banchan the rotates seasonally. There is a variety of different kimchi, fish cake, corn slaw, potato salad and more. Once in a while I like to switch it up and I order the Cold Noodles (F1) or squid and pork stir fry (A4). The cold noodles are refreshing with crisp cucumber, white radish kimchi, and korean pear. The noodles are bouncy with a nice chew. Great in Summer and Winter. The Squid and pork stir fry comes with a bowl of rice and it is quite spicy. It is spicier than average but still less spicy than Thai chili. The chewy squid and pork are nicely complemented with the crunchy stir fried cabbage. Once you taste it you can't stop eating it. The price at Narrow Street very reasonable for what you get in my opinion. It is sit down restaurant quality food in a fast casual setting. You place your order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to alert you to go pick up your trays of food. I am going to focus more on the cooked items as most people here already gave their review on the sushi. Hangover ramen, not too bad. It is like Shin Ramen Instant Noodles with a lighter flavor, nice touch with the bean sprout as it is a needed texture element. Add the gyoza into it and it makes it even better. Cucumber salad, not bad at all. It is missing a bit of spice to it. A touch of chili oil on it would kick this dish up a bit. It is refreshing and a must at the table. Truffle fries, please skip this. No salt on the fries if you are okay with it. It is just a bit of truffle oil and Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. It is lacking in flavor. Yaki Udon, skip this as well. Not sure if it was just the day I went but the sauce was not so great. It was this sweet and sour taste but it was swimming on the bottom of the bowl like the sauce was poured on top of it at the end instead of being stir-fried into it in a wok or a pan. The first few bites are okay but the bottom half is just swimming in that sauce. Spicy Pork Bulgogi, decent size overall, not too bad.
