This is my second time here. My friend invited me and I had no idea it was this place. My first visit was for a work dinner the waitress was rude and the food was decent. But the waitress was so rude and just a horrible server that I did not choose to return. But my friend kept raving about this great sushi place and when we pulled up I was like oh no. We go in and it's the same waitress lol. My food was delicious and my drink. The waitress wasn't a gem but she was much better than she was on my first visit. My friend said she waited on her a few tunes and shes just rude they should fire her I mean she's making people uncomfortable and not providing great or even good service. read more

This gem sits on a busy corner and no less than 90% of the people who walked by, walked in. We chose the table by the door so we could people watch And it was brilliant. Every category of human being walked through the door, which says a lot about an establishment - old men at the bar, sweet ladies by the window, yuppy females together after work, young couples, small family, single businessman, I could go on! I was in love with The simple but invasive menu immediately. I simply had to try their homemade lemonade. A little pricy, but the fresh ingredients are unparalleled. I ordered the Ginger Lemonade with fresh sliced ginger that I chewed one the entire meal, a starter of 8 Avocado sushi (I shared, of course), and the chicken with pumpkin in a coconut curry sauce, topped with field greens and a ginger teriyaki dressing. I mean, what?? I had to stop myself from the green tea ice cream, but im sure it's delish! Service was really bad but food was not bad. There are 4 of us and the restaurant is not full but we had to constantly go tell the waitress to come to us to order food or get the check. The restaurant does not take credit card so bring lots of cash if you plan to dine and wine. read more

We arrived around 14:40, we did not get our food until 16:00. After going inside and asking where our food was they admitted that they forgot to put our order in. Then they said we lied and only waited for our food 30 minutes. We never got drink refills and we had to go inside to get their attention to pay. They also got my order wrong, there was no spice at all when I specifically asked for it. I will NEVER eat here again and I will let everyone know to avoid Anami because of the HORRIBLE service. read more

My friend and I didn't have the exciting time as most reviews did. The sushi was good, again we're in Germany, is there really any GREAT sushi? No. The facility was aesthetically pleasing, and clean. The service; although towards the end, we met a very nice waiter, it was what really turned us away from this restaurant. We ordered and ended up waiting for our drink for 30 minutes, then another hour or so before we received our food. That's when we were left to "fend for ourselves", the waitress never came back to check on us, nor could did we get a chance to refill on drinks. 3 stars are only for the quality of food, can't give it anymore due to poor service. read more

Finally great sushi! I have tried numerous restaurants to utter disappointment. We loved this place. Then menu is astounding and the care taken in the meal display was superb! Very nice restaurant. Dining room is quite large, and there is an outdoor seating area. The sushi was very good.

Service was so bad that I'm compelled to put them on blast. Nothing compelling about the quality of their food, I've had better and I've had worse. The sushi is good but I noticed they skimp our on how much you actually get per roll so in my opinion it's overpriced. Definitely not worth it for the way we were treated. I had made reservations and when we arrived they did not have a table for us or even care that they weren't prepared. They shoved us aside on bench seats in the far corner completely isolated from the restaurant having to squeeze by other customers already eating. Then after waiting there for 30 mins with no service at all they moved us to another table to be seated because they wanted to make room for a large party. All in all, it took almost an hour before they even asked for our drinks. I rarely experience this lack of service with an obvious disregard for taking care of customers because it didn't look like we're hurting for costumers. Maybe the servers are overworked and understaffed and therefore carry that bad attitude on to everyone else. read more
