The staff is just as amazing welcoming, kind, and always professional. I've also had lash lifts and brow laminations done here, and I can confidently say they use some of the best-quality products on the market. On top of that, I love coming here for haircuts. Whether it's a trim or a full cut, the stylist always cuts exactly what I ask for--never more, never less, which is so rare to find. They truly have a great touch with hair. I touched the back of scalp and color from the scalp came on my finger so basically the shampoo after color wasn't done properly and there was still a lot of color left. I was so displeased. I went back. It was raining and really cold that day I still went back, the salon was closed. I wrote them an email next day and they just responded with a sorry on the email and saying they will talk to the girl who shampooed but I think even if they were a teaching salon the main stylist should have checked if the service was done properly, it felt like negligence and rushed service. I was not feeling well that day, and after that I had to wash my hair again at 9 PM on a very cold day, only because they didn't do it properly, i had an early morning flight next day and this totally ruined my mood. I expected them to offer me some refund atleast as service was so dismal.. when I had left 40% tip as well. Nothing like that not even a call from them for apologizing properly when i was an old customer.. This experience left such a bad taste in mouth, the color also stained my nails before my hawaii trip. I'm not going back

I am just passing though NJ, but after some Google search I found this salon. It was close to me and the cost seemed reasonable on their website (135+ for bayalage). Which is totally normal for my hair, it's usually 250 after tip. My salon experience cost me 414 after tip, which is mind blowing-I was so flawed over the price my hair color didn't hit until the next morning. I shouldn't have offered to pay before the service was over, I was just being kind so the owner didn't have to come back and close up after us. I never got a recept or a breakdown of what I was charged for. I have a feeling I was charged for additional services I didn't ask for, nor should have been warranted for a bayalage. I had Yngrid as my stylist and I LOVE how she cut and thinned my hair, but she missed the mark on the color after showing her pictures and telling her how I wanted it. Ultimately my hair was just highlighted an ugly gray color, it was "glazed," which I've never had done, and a root treatment...the point of a bayalage is that it doesn't start at the root, which I had stated in the chair...I wanted it to start a few inches from my root. Therefore a root treatment should have never been needed to "blend" the color. While I was also getting my hair done a client came in because she was not happy of the color of her hair. If I had time I would have gone back to have them tone it but I'm on the go and work late. I took time out of work to have my hair done (it was very over due). Overall this salon over charges for services, and it seems like the artists just do their own thing. If you can't simulate the style in the photos don't do the hair!

The salon is tucked inside a small mall, and you have to go up the stairs to find it, but once you do, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The space is huge, clean, and filled with natural sunlight, offering a great view. My visit started with a relaxing shampoo and a little massage. Then, Andy worked his magic on my hair. He did an excellent job bringing my lifeless locks back to life, finishing with some beautiful styling at the ends. Overall, it was an above-average experience, and I'll definitely be back.

They show you before each cut to make sure the length they are taking off is correct and they will not get "scissor happy". Once I saw that they said no to an all over color I opted out of getting cut as I originally wanted. i feel I could have just done my roots at home and saved myself the money. I said I didn't want black and they didnt try at all to go lighter I feel my hair is still dark if not darker. on top of that I was left with dye all over my forehead lol. I really just wanted to leave at that point so I also opted out of the blow dry. So disappointed, had been 6 months since I did my hair and was looking forward to it.
