Clam chowder

We've gone to another Anayas so we're familiar with the menu. The fish and chips were really good and well seasoned. My wife enjoyed her meal as well. I was surprised the place wasn't all that busy. Perhaps it's the location. It's actually easier and quicker to get to than the other store we've been to. We will be back.

Mixed feelings on our dinners. However, service by Felipe was great. The crab cake appetizer was two large cakes and a small salad. The crab meat was gray and bland. The special grouper Oscar was ok but I didn't care for the hollandaise sauce. The big plus for the night was the blackened catfish and shrimp combination. It is served with fries and delicious coleslaw. I recommend the combo.

This is a nice local restaurant with seafood. I had the gumbo and a catfish only. Everything was delicious and seasoned well. They also had happy hour everyday with different options on their menu. I look forward to visiting again.

I had the cedar plank salmon with a French 75!!! Deeeelish!!!

The food is delicious...& my French 75 was superb! I've been here a couple times already and will continue to come back!!

Margarita flight

Decided to come here for brunch and the three stars are for the service, which was good and the food didn't take long to arrive. Now on to the food: Margarita flight 5/10: I only drank 2 out of the 4 because I didn't care for the flavors of the other 2 and I'm not a fan of Tajin in my drinks. Catfish and shrimp 4/10: the portion size was nice, the fries and fried shrimp were good. The fish grilled and fried were disappointing. Lack of flavor on the grilled and fried fish.

This place is amazing , the price is also amazing and I'm definitely coming back. The catfish was fried perfectly , the gumbo was flavorful and my son said he enjoyed his grilled shrimp. The service was awesome and fast. Everyone was so nice and such a mature atmosphere I will be back!!!

My family and friends have been attending Anaya's seafood for years literally one of the best the food is fresh. We often stop by and also purchase takeout orders that way we don't have to worry about cooking at home strongly recommend!

Went for a weekday lunch break and we were super excited since this place has so many good reviews! However, it turned out to be mid. The time and food here was not memorable to us. I got the salmon caesar salad and for the price I would have expected a different bed of lettuce not just romaine. The salmon was cooked well though, and the sauce was good. His meal needed more sauce, and the piece of chicken was small. Maybe we ordered the wrong things? but we will most likely not go back any time soon

Crab and shrimp queso! You can't find anything this good in Dallas!!!!!

Friends this place is awesome! Tucked away from the main Beltline restaurants it's a diamond worth finding! We had incredible tropical drinks (tried 4 different ones that were all awesome.....we also go there for happy hour and they were only $7.95 or something! WELL worth it). Server was Kevin and he was SOOO attentive! Took time to give us details about their menu and the board and we never lacked for anything! Great job Kevin! Now the food is where this place REALLY shines! All fresh made from scratch the portions are large, filling and absolutely delicious! We had the crab and shrimp queso served with fresh fried flour tortilla chips, the AMAZING poblano pepper soup (a MUST have) crab cakes and dynamite shrimp tacos. I can't say enough good about Anaya's. It was quiet enough to have a good conversation and was a perfect date night! I hope everyone will try it! We need these good restaurants to keep popping up! Beautiful job Anayas!!!!! Keep up the good work!

We enjoyed our meals. The crab cakes and hush puppies were on the starter menu. They were very good. The crab cakes were flavorful. I was told the catfish and shrimp were very good as well. A new place for seafood.

Seafood Enchiladas

All day Happy Hour on Saturday & Sunday, say no more! On a recent date night, the misses and I had a chance to try Anaya's after recommendations from a couple of friends. A smaller establishment Anaya's fancies your seafood lovers who enjoy cozy and quaint environments. Whether it's date night or grabbing a quick meal, Anaya's vibe caters to all. A pleasant surprise as well, all cocktails during happy hour at $7.95 an unbeatable tag for quality. Upon recommendations from the staff and a neighboring table, we opted for Stuffed Crab & Salmon, along with Seafood Enchiladas and Bang Bang Shrimp as an app. The seafood sauce on the enchiladas had bit of a kick however the flavorful profile was undeniable! However the highlight was a speciality item in the stuffed crab & salmon, so good the misses didn't like my fork coming across the table. Service and wait time for food were excellent for a Saturday evening. We'll definitely be back to try other menu items and enjoy happy once more. Kudos Anaya's

I'm borderline wanting to say this is my favorite restaurant. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I love great seafood and this is a gold standard in the state of Texas. The service is always great, the food comes out fast but not to fast like was sitting in the back waiting to be served. I come for by birthday every year and it hasn't let me down once. I tried something new to me. The shrimp poboy. It was bursting with seafood and sauces. Kind of hard to eat as is. Knife and fork at first before you succumb to the temptation for a massive bite and get sauce all over. I wear that sauce badge with honor from this place. The gumbo is fine. Definitely a side and not a star. You could tell it was made on house. I'm used to thicker and more robust, but that would have taken over the dish if it were. They know what they are doing I guess. The atmosphere is relaxed but upscale. Great for a family or business lunch. Quiet, but the noise of dining is still present. You can hear everyone at your table which is a must for me since I always go with people I care about. I will keep coming back and an already planning my next visit. Pappadeaux is always at it's best when someone else is paying lol

The chairs were way too short for the tables, which made sitting and eating uncomfortable. On top of that, the table we were seated at was extremely small and could barely fit all of the food we ordered, so everything felt cramped. Our waiter was also barely around, making it difficult to get refills or ask for anything we needed. The food itself was still good, which is why I'm giving it three stars, but between the uncomfortable seating, tiny table, and lack of attentive service, it wasn't a very pleasant dining experience overall.

I'd just dropped off my client and, on a whim, decided to swing by Anay Seafood Scratch Kitchen…read morenear his place. As I pulled in, the very first thing I spotted was a sign: "Hot Boiled Crawfish Here." Well... ALRIGHT!!! I hadn't had any mudbugs yet this season, so it felt like fate. The service? Fantastic. I was just telling the waitress I was hoping for crawfish when the manager strolled by and said, "We've only got 2 lbs left." Without missing a beat: "Those must be mine." And wow--what a score. Perfectly spiced, nice and firm, served up with a couple of boiled new potatoes. A little bit of everything size-wise--big, small, mostly medium--but every single one was delicious. Washed it all down with a cold draft Shiner... couldn't have been better. Great food, great timing, and a vibe that's upbeat, welcoming, and just plain fun. Definitely a spot worth dropping into!

So 3 times in a week-yeah, it's that good…read more I hate etoufee I hate crawfish I hate celery And I don't care very much for bread pudding. So why did I order this?!? 'Cause it is freaking awesome! The etoufee is made with crawfish then they put some fried on the side for texture. Perfectly cooked rice is in the middle with fresh scallions. I sat there loving the celery. THE CELERY! When was the last time you read a review about how great the celery was? My only "complaint" (if you can call it that) was that you only get one little piece of garlic bread cut in half. So I rarely get dessert but the bread pudding sounded great. It is served hot, but not so hot that all the ice cream melts. This has raisins but I think they may also have se Ocean Spray Craisins. I could be wrong but there were two different colored things in there. So the main point of my review is even bad stuff is WONDERFUL here

She was informative told me the entire history of the restaurant and has a true passion for what she does The food absolutely makes! This is literally transported me back to the oceanfront on the seashore. The best lobster I've had since the area! I loved that they actually had their proper migonette served with oysters that were chilled and properly shucked... I spent twice the amount of money, a big name and this almond pot defend and restaurant and teach all of them! Walking out the simple effective decorated restaurant really felt like I was gonna walk back out to the beach and feel spray hitting my face. Well, done! Please make sure to support this amazing restaurant

We heard about this place & since we were in the area so tried it for lunch…read more.. We were seated immediately near the kitchen. Rolando was our server he was attentive & gave us good service. We ordered cioppino & rainbow trout grilled with mashed potatoes & corn as our sides. Trout was finely prepared nicely grilled & seasoned. Loved the corn with chipotle seasoning it went very well with the fish & potatoes were good. But Cioppino was not how it's usually prepared the broth seemed very light , seasoning was not up to the mark & the mussels were ok ... had better mussels in other places... it's a seafood place so we were expecting nice juicy mussels but the meat in clams & mussels were extremely small.... That was a let down... we did take the leftover broth to have it later but it didn't tasted good ( turned very sour) so threw it away... Maybe it was one of the off day but we felt disappointed... will try something else if we visit again.
