One star in generous for this establishment. My family recently rented a pontoon from Anchor Bay when our Sea Ray unexpectedly had to have some work done. In the span of about 4 hours we spent roughly $700 on the boat and gas (roughly the going rate so no issue there). But pricing aside, I can say that I have never been treated so rudely by any business ever... AND I LIVE IN ATLANTA! I get that working on a Saturday probably sucks and that you probably deal with rude people often but when someone is pleasant and spending even $5 at your business (MUCH LESS $750) a meager "thanks" or "have a nice day" goes a long way. I was warned but... The only reason I give this place 2 stars is that it DOES have the cheapest gas on the lake and the storage fees are very reasonable. As for the customer service I find them VERY lacking and cold. There is seldom if EVER anyone at the dock to help dock your boat to get gas By water it is very tricky getting in and out if there is more than one boat at a time. The docks themselves are not properly trimmed and have scratched my boats on more than one occasion. They did not and do not seem to care about this. They act surprised in a fake way, as if it were the boat owner's fault, ALWAYS Warning: I had my reservations storing my boats here, but it was cheap and available. They require a 6 month agreement to store a boat and are NOT flexible. I lost the sale of one of my boats because they were unwilling to let me end my contract early, even though the boat had been stored there for only 10 days and they KNEW I was trying to sell it. I feel that their choice to do this has damaged my relationship with them and I have truly been burned. They were resolute and cold and, in my opinion, extremely unprofessional. Horrible customer service. Didn't tell us about a defective pontoon that they gave us, which was filling with water and took on a ton of water twice. When we told the old lady that the guy on the dock told us it was defective early in and drained the water for us, she threw him under the bus and said he doesn't know what he's talking about and shouldn't have spoken for the business. She denied that the boat was defective until the end. They then threatened to call "the law" on us when we were calmly telling them about how out boat was messed up. Stay far far away from this place, there's enough other good places on the lake. read more

The pontoon boat we rented had water leaking inside the left side of the boat. Would not recommend.

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. The boat we rented had so many problems that it shouldn't even be rented. Customer service was beyond horrible. The reviews from last summer still ring true and I wish we had seen them. Avoid this place! read more

We rented a boat from them on Saturday, it was an older boat but still in great shape mechanically. I'm not sure if Brad and his wife are the owners or not, but they were very knowledgeable and helpful. We had such a great time and hope that we can rent again before the summer is over read more

I would give this place a negative if That was an option. We stored our Boat there this winter for the first time. During this time besides all the winterize things we had asked for a Depth Finder and a Complete Detail. When dropping the Boat the Lady in the office explained what a full detail was. She quoted us so much per foot. It would include Waxing and Buffing and cleaning all inside with leather treatment. We picked the boat up yesterday. Was excited to see a Clean and Shinning Boat. Well that didn't happen! Actually it looked like the boat had been outside for several days. The Boat had not even been cleaned or detailed what so ever. After complaining a older man came out and talked with us. He was just about the rudest person I've ever talked with! During our discussion he said he had detailed the Boat himself. Really......look at it, it hasn't even been washed or even vacuumed. He even referred to our Boat be a piece of crap! Well needless to say I will never step foot back in this place. And I will do my best to get any of our friends not to deal with them also. read more
