I have a hitch on my car that I rarely use and only in the summer to help a friend haul a mower or jet skis. My electrical wiring had failed and I needed to get it fixed. I know almost nothing about the wiring and the terminology of hitches I called this place and explained it to them and they were very helpful. I agreed to drop the car off there and they would call me when fixed because the part had to be ordered This place is a little weird to get to if coming from I-81 but they have good signage to follow and the GPS is right. There is good parking. The staff were helpful and my hitch got fixed for the quoted price. I would give 5 stars but they were supposed to call me when it was fixed and after 7 days, I called them and they were like... oh yea it is fixed, you can come get it. I recently had the front seal of my Leer 700 tonneau cover replaced at Anchor. It was a long drive between my home and Anchor, so on my first visit they removed my cover and stored it until the new seal arrived. What was expected to be about a three week wait ended up being only one. I was quite surprised when I received the phone call saying it was ready. With the new seal installed the tonneau looks great, and the best thing is no more water leaking into the bed. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Anyone I stopped to ask questions did not seem to mind, nor were they too busy to take time to answer them. Sidenote: I do wish they would improve their website. Good customer service but...I needed running boards on my Jeep Wrangler. I went to Anchor and they recommended a set, I liked them, so we ordered them and I paid in full up front. They came in quickly and I went to the shop this morning for the install. Now that one is one the staff came to me and asked if I wanted the step extended...why? Because it is mounted flush against the body. You have to step sideways to use it and even then it's slim. I wanted these so my petite wife can get in and out of the vehicle easier expect in wet or slippery weather. The running boards are useless if left installed like this. Why 2 stars? Because Anchor wants to bill me for additional labor to install the boards so they are useful. read more
