The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about metaphysics. They made us feel very comfortable and were able to answer all of our questions. They also made some suggestions about crystals and oils that were excellent! We explored the whole store, we must have been there for hours! I purchased a tumbled snow quartz, a window quartz, raw citrine, raw gypsum/selentine, raw rose quartz and tumbled amethyst. For Heaven's Sake includes a small piece of paper with a description of the crystal as a nice reminder! My sister bought a gorgeous rock salt lamp for only $25. The store carried several different sizes of rock salt lamps for various prices. I will definitely be back to For Heaven's Sake for future purchases of crystals and other items I need! I spent hours speaking with her, confided in her, respected her guidance, and regarded her as someone safe. I also supported her professionally in a significant way because I genuinely believed in her and in the work she was doing. That trust is gone. What changed my opinion was not a single disagreement. It was discovering that the compassion and understanding I believed I was receiving directly did not match what was being said about me elsewhere. That matters profoundly when someone works in a profession built on intuition, trust, emotional vulnerability, and guidance. I was going through an extraordinarily difficult period in my life, including serious medical circumstances and significant emotional strain. Carol knew that. She also knew how vulnerable I was and how much weight I placed on her perspective. Despite that, I later learned that she had been expressing judgments about me to my wife while interacting with me very differently in private. When I became hurt by something that happened, I did not attack her, publicly shame her, or retaliate. I reached out directly and asked if we could meet because I wanted to understand what had happened and repair the relationship. She told me she was busy and would check her schedule. She never contacted me again. Nearly two months later, however, she had no difficulty reaching out to my wife to request changes to marketing materials that I had personally created through my own business. My wife does not run my creative business. That moment told me everything I needed to know. Ignoring someone when they ask to repair a personal rupture is one thing. Deliberately bypassing that same person when you later want something related to their professional work is another. It felt dismissive, avoidant, and profoundly disrespectful. I gave an enormous amount of my time, creative labor, professional expertise, encouragement, and trust to this relationship without expecting anything in return. I did so because I believed I was supporting someone who had positively affected my life. I now understand that relationship very differently. The most painful part is not that Carol and I are no longer close. It is realizing that someone I once regarded almost as a maternal figure could know how deeply I trusted her, know how much I was struggling, accept the generosity I extended, speak critically about me behind the scenes, and then avoid a direct conversation when I asked for one. For a profession that depends so heavily on trust, discernment, authenticity, and emotional integrity, that discrepancy is impossible for me to overlook. I had a very uneasy feeling before we even purchased the home but I thought, nah, it's cool, I'm sure that will go away! Ha, famous last words for sure! So we started tearing up this old house from the floor to the ceiling and this uneasy feeling, became much worse!! After a little over a year in the home I started not wanting to be there and we found that we were leaving the house just to drive around and discuss it, weird I know but we started to feel like we were unwelcome. Every night our home would make a ton of noise and at first I chalked it up to an old home settling until the noises became louder and more consistent with the timing and would end with a bang on our bedroom closet doors. It was every night from 2:31am until 5:15am that I was wide eyed laying in bed staring at this darkness in front of me. A person who has no idea what they are experiencing can only take so long without sleep before breaking down. So I began to get more and more anxious and both my wife and I could now not only hear when this was going to begin but we could feel it pushing on us all throughout the night and sometimes during the day. Yeah, freaking crazy right?! That's how I felt! So I broke down, sobbing at least once daily and now at the point where my 2 cats sat on me at night while we all stared at this darkness... no joke, it was wild! My wife reached out to someone who provided us a list of contacts that could possibly help us with a home clearing. Having never heard of such a thing, I just started calling the numbers and was pleasantly surprised when someone answered the phone. It was Gayle Fowler, and she listened to my entire story with no judgement! She actually made me feel like I wasn't alone and told me what they could do to help us. I scheduled the ghostbuster (they may not call themselves that be we sure do!) to come out about 5 days after my initial call. Gayle (a shaman) told me that her and her partner, Brenda (an angel communicator) would be coming down and the entire process would take approximately 4 hours. They had no issue with traveling to Colorado Springs for a set fee and I thought the price was more than fair. Durning that next 5 days the issues escalated and we were clearly on edge when they showed up. Again, they had no judgements and instantly created a calmer tone in the air. Over the next 4 hours the experience that we had...I can only describe it as unbelievable and very moving. Both Gayle and Brenda covered every inch of our home inside and out and cleared out everything. We learned about the lost souls that were in our home and why they were being drawn to me. When the ghostbusters left that night, we immediately popped a bottle of champagne. Our house from that point on was completely silent. There was no longer any loud banging, popping, extreme settling, or closet door banging and we lived happily ever after in our newly renovated home! With our life finally moving in the right direction, there are going to be some life changes soon and we informed Gayle that we would love to get her and Brenda back out just to help ensure that things remain calm before, during, and after the upcoming changes. We have never been so thankful for a service provided in our lives.
