Although the shop was closed the owner was inside and welcomed us in. Whilst his English was weak we were able to speak ok and used a bit of German and English to communicate. They have a lot of Bio / Organic wine from around Europe and their selection of German wine is also good. The owner is quite passionate about German wine and that is nice to see. He allowed us to try some wine and also introduced me to some unusual aperitifs from France and Germany. He is just getting everything organized for the shop at the moment and only been open a short while. His prices are reasonable and for under €15 you can get a decent selection of white and red wines. I ended up going back and buying some wines and will definitely be back. It's very close to where we live and I really like the personal service and the knowledge of the shop owner who is also a collector for the last 30 years.

A gorgeous shop where everything is "vom fass" or on tap. They have a great selection of oils both…read moreflavoured and different origin olive oils. They have a selection of vinegars on tap, locally made liqueurs, single malt scotch whiskeys, schnapps and juices. You can also buy pre packaged gifts or have one made for you. The prices are expensive but I suppose if you are buying special items in small quantities they are likely to be expensive. Staff were quite friendly and spoke English pretty well. Whilst they offered to help it would have been nice if they had explained how the shop works and what was possible as we would probably have bought a thing or two more. I would like to try some of their stuff and must make time to properly browse through this shop :-)
