Can not say enough great things about Melanie and her staff. So positive, creative, talented, thoughtful, and much much more!!!! She truly takes the time to get to know her subjects and tells their story with the images she creates. I could not be more happy with our daughter's senior photos. Horrible! If I could give them a 0 I would. Don't waste your money and trust me you would be spending a lot of it! 2,000 for 12 pictures and you don't even get the rights to them! I had my sons newborn pictures taken in August it's now November I still don't have the pictures I ordered!! I only ordered 2 pictures! Ridiculous it has taken so long. Melanie is constantly out of the office or traveling. The office attendant doesn't know anything when you call. I still don't know where my pictures are and it's not like you can retake newborn pictures. Very unprofessional! When i finally did get ahold of her she said she was making calls and was traveling just offered me a refund didn't even attempt to find where they were or how long they will be!! Don't waste your money. It took almost 3 weeks to get our photos back. The outsourced company (what?) misspelled my sons name for his baseball pictures...why is a photographer outsourcing photo work??? I felt like they blamed me by pulling my order form and showing it to me. After spending $56 on average pictures, I would expect them to just take back the picture, apologize to me (which I never got) for having to make 2 extra trips and leave it at that...hoping our league takes my suggestion to use a different photographer next year. Melanie seems a little too into her self, quite a turn off. Humble Melanie... Jamie Turner is way better! read more

Please do not waste your money. I had my newborn photos done at this studio. They had several scheduling errors (double booked, canceling last minute), which was frustrating because my husband had to take leave each time. The staff is pleasant but the photographer is so rude and obnoxious. She only spent 45 minutes on the photos (we were promised 3 hours - this was another scheduling error. Another person came in for a session so they kicked us out, I overheard everything). She also wouldn't take poses we wanted, that staff agreed to prior to the session (for example baby chin in hands). She is obsessed with her own wrap style - we had a specific style we were looking for when sending out our announcements, we were VERY disappointed...to the point we took our own photos to send out. I hate that we paid for them in the end. We were trapped into paying for them since I couldn't take back the time (he would be older after all, and we wanted newborn shots). The finished product was poor quality. I went to JC Penny's a month later and got better images than the ones she took, and the photographer was so nice. Needless to say, I will never be going back there and hope that no one else goes through what I went through. Even the prints were the wrong ones! We asked immediately they switch them for the shots we chose, and the staff agreed but then the photographer refused! Save yourself the frustration and money and find another photographer. read more
