Alyssa was on time and ready to capture our special moment. Alyssa gave us style tips with her great Style Guide prior to our session. She also helped us with various poses during our session. Throughout the session she was in tune of our best qualities and used the natural light to her advantage. She even asked for our advice and how we wanted to capture our style. After not hearing back called and got the run around of I'm too busy I work for Warner Media and only do this on the weekend...so my in business if you don't take priority? He continued to tell me it was my job to schedule the clients when we agreed he would schedule since he knew his traveling schedule. Now my client has to be contacted by another professional firm....the kicker is would have gladly paid extra 200 or 250 but after being called dude, and "don't have time" "this shit" who wants to work with that arrogance.

From the second our family walked through her studio door for our photo shoot , we felt welcomed and comfortable. She communicated well to us and had a delious batch of chocolate chip cookies and ice water waiting. (for the extremely warm newborn room) Her booklet for us to browse through was sitting there too. Very professional , yet warm and inviting. She got our baby boy ready and kept him comfortable as he dozed. She captured some really amazing shots of our little , yet 9lb baby. She suggested poses for all of us , yet I felt comfortable requesting my own thoughts to get her opinion on. Being a post partum mom , swollen and tired (and showing it too!!) she captured angles that were flattering for me, which I appreciated greatly. Despite dealing with multiple people , outfit changes, kids attitudes, etc she handled us very well! She was open to my ideas and willing to give hers. She paid attention to detail. It is almost impossible to get a "natural" shot of my little boys who hate to have their pictures taken. Clare Ahalt did an amazing job of not only capturing all my children's natural smiles~ she made it fun for all of us! I never felt rushed and that was so important to me after so many years of "cattle herding" through big-box portrait places like Sears.
