My husband and I were not able to bury our dog that had passed due to the ground being frozen. We decided that it would be best to have him cremated. This was difficult however because we were running into difficulties due to the Christmas holiday and then a weekend. Scot went above and beyond and took our dog a little outside of business hours so we didn't have to try to figure out the logistics of keeping his body cooled and inside our garage for a few days. After driving past Pet Valhalla for some time as part of my daily commute, I unfortunately had the opportunity to utilize their services. There were several last minute changes to my plans (due to an in-home vet cancellation) that changed the time we would arrive. Scot was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was empathetic, compassionate, and flexible to our needs. I was not expecting to see a nice altar type area where our boy would be resting, looking like he was taking a long nap, for our final visit, but was so pleased with the care that was taken. Upon our arrival, Scot asked several questions about Charlie and what he was like in his younger years, which was such a nice touch. He certainly cares about his customers and repeatedly apologized that he was running behind due to unexpected equipment downtime that was recently resolved. We assured him that we were not worried about the fast turnaround, but still received his ashes back within 2 business days. Though I hope it is some time until we need his services again, I would wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone who wants to support a small, third generation family owned business that truly cares about their customers. We couldn't be happier with this service. Our big ol' Mr. Chris cat passed & we couldn't travel to the cabin to bury him. It's wonderful that we were able to have him cremated here. We were not wanting his ashes, & they will be scattered on this lovely rural land. Scott could not have been kinder. He asked us about who Chris was, what he was like, even what he meant to us.
