It sat in their home for 2 weeks and they noticed several issues with it. These were issues I have seen in very low end furniture so I contacted Traditions and they asked for cushion covers to analyze. They agreed there was an issue and the only thing they could do is offer their cost on replacement cushion covers. From a local designers position, I will not be buying from this company ever again, nor will be recommending them to any client.

My favorite find were 2 repurposed military jackets for $50 each. I also picked up 2 unique pins for jackets/backpacks, old Kansas license plates, and some vintage glass that I will use for propagation vases. We spent around 90 minutes in there, and it probably would have been longer had we lived here and didn't have to fly with our purchases. For a place called "architectural salvage," this biz has a much larger "antique store" element than I had expected. Virtually the entire sizable first floor is dedicated to a selection of antiques that I found to be incredibly interesting! I wouldn't be able to even scratch the surface of telling you the types of items, but I'd say that the collection lends itself to items that were originally meant to be functional, rather than decorative. Their collection of antique binoculars and telescopes was fascinating, as were their scales. I also really enjoyed rummaging through their apothecary bottles, a personal favorite of mine. Of course, this IS an architectural salvage, so you're also treated to massive stained glass windows, service counters carefully removed from turn-of-the-century businesses, entire displays of doorknobs and hinges and light fixtures. If you were looking for period-appropriate parts for your home, I trust they'd have it. While the prices are high enough I wouldn't say you'd get anything at a steal, the selection is incredibly impressive. Maybe it's still somewhat of a secret and hasn't yet been picked over?
