I am sharing my personal experience with attorney Desiree Bedasa because I believe others should…read moreknow what I encountered before deciding whether to retain her. In my case, I felt unprepared for trial. The first meaningful trial preparation I received occurred on the actual day of the hearing. During that preparation, I was asked many of the same questions that were later asked in court. I expected more thorough preparation well in advance so I could understand the process and present my case effectively. I also felt that some of the advice and comments I received did not reflect the reality of my situation. For several years, my child's mother and I shared parenting responsibilities on a week-on/week-off schedule. We each maintained clothing, school items, and necessities for our child, and I provided health insurance coverage. Despite this, I was told that I had been "spoiled" because I was not paying child support, which I found dismissive of the financial and parental contributions I had been making. Communication was another major concern. I often found it difficult to get timely responses to questions. When I informed her that I needed additional time to pay an outstanding balance but intended to pay it, I expected a discussion about possible options. Instead, she withdrew from representing me. What frustrated me most was that I did not receive a phone call to discuss the situation beforehand, which left me feeling abandoned during an important custody matter. Overall, I left the attorney-client relationship feeling unsupported, underprepared, and disappointed with the level of communication and representation I received. This is simply my personal experience, but based on that experience, I would not hire this attorney again and would encourage anyone considering representation to ask detailed questions about communication, trial preparation, and client expectations before retaining counsel.

I have known Ken Stillman Attorney for a very long time ( 1978 ) and find him very easy to…read morecommunicate with - very caring, sensitive, and knowledgeable about law. He helped me with a CPS case intervention in 1997. It did not go well for me or my Kids I wanted to foster and or adopt- in the long run but was no fault of my Counsel . The PROBLEM was a young , uncaring - arrogant - dismissive and inexperienced attorney ad litem and caseworker that was assigned to the children from CPS . Her reckless decisions destroyed their future. The kids are still in my life today.....2026 and I will likely pass the bulk of my ESTATE to them when I am no longer here on this earth.....we are still THAT BONDED and CLOSE. Trying to work with Cps was intensely frustrating and CRAZY MEMORY. Unbeknownst to CPS, I was coached by Judges, attorneys, a Dr., Constables and Supervisors and cps failed ME- (US) our every effort. Every person who touched this file at cps ( within their system ) botched it. The mother was a habitual offender, drug addict, refused to work - professional con artist MOOCH and was diagnosed by Texas Cps Psychiatrist with Borderline Personality Disorder , Bi Polar and dual drug addiction. She abandoned the kids for 8 years. The Jordanian father sexually molested every one of the 3 kids....in early years..he was charged with touching his stepdaughter ( eldest ) every day for 5 years and the mom told him she would drop the charges for 10,000 and the child didnt do well on the stand. Charge still stood. Their were 4 police reports I collected from 4 counties on this dad in Denton, Tarrant, Dallas and Garland with these bizarre and conflicted issues. During my time and relationship with the kids...since 1996.....i personally reported/witnessed a series of sexual abuse issues with the little son and the young daughter and remember the very week the 5 year old daughter started experiencing memory black outs. ( same week the dad kept her home from school for 1 week to do big girl things with him -alone ) She could deep throat a banana and she proudly showed me. PO - ME. The little boy cried in his sleep begging his dad not to touch him down there anymore when the child was spending night at my house on an Easter weekend. The dad got arrested on some random stupid charges like bouncing checks and was being held n deportation pending arrival of his passport from washington so he could be escorted home by Immigration ......the ad litem felt sorry for the dad because he was held for almost 1 year and ad litem had the Judge VACATE THE ORDER /conviction from the charge that was about to have him deported. ( the one where he touched his stepdaughter everyday for 5 years ) Time was now just before 2000. ...so the order was vacated and The dad was released and kids were immediately returned to him from foster care/Buckners children home. He was gently raping the little boy within 18 months and made the little boy sleep with him. Boy was told by father he couldnt tell me or anyone in America about this because it was a sacred event of HONOR to do such things with a father back in His country of Israel-Jordan and that Americans would not understand at all so it had to be between the two of them forever secret pact. Boy told me he cried the entire time- every time. again- me PO. It took him 45 minutes to poop and we used to tease him about taking so long in the restroom not knowing WHY. He told me/confessed to me about this when he was 14 while they were living in my renthouse in Garland but told me everything as soon as his father was arrested by Garland police. Why was the dad arrested by Garland police? ? The father was eventually / FINALLY arrested- after soliciting an undercover "minor" Garland cop 45 times who posed as an underage girl and they arrested him when he went to meet her in the city park. He spent 5 years in prison in Houston....then deported on release. CPS is a an absolute nightmare and the damage done has been ABOMINABLE. The mother showed up when father was being arrested after abandoning kids 8 years and cps gave them back to her as if nothing had ever happened...no questions asked. Both parents loved me when they needed money but hated me (jealous) of my relationship with kids otherwise and usually demanded distance. I was most loving-provider &stable thing in kids lives..ever. Th Boy did not do well when forced to reunite with his mother after her long abandonment when she left them alone with the father. She blocked them from contacting me again &teenage boy had extreme anger issues w/ her & hurled chair across room at her & she & cps put him in Waco hospital affiliated w/cps when he was about 16,17. Boy got out of hospital ...came back & moved on his own...got waiters job -put himself thru jrcollege. Joined Army for career & college..hated it..& told me he wanted to come home- would i help him with a business career

I waited about 3 days to be contacted. When I hadn't heard from the firm, I called. I heard a voicemail message saying he was on a 2 week vacation so I left a message. The firm never returned my call. I cannot imagine, why? I thought a lawyer would follow a good lead for potential BUSINESS. Just in case, I left a second voicemail. This was over a month ago and I to this day have not heard from the firm. I guess he just didn't like what he saw...
